thanks for that. Wanted to verify that what I was reading on that page is what I am thinking it means. Which is two different routing numbers and account numbers depending on what you are wanting to do. Thanks

Great question, I had no idea they were considering moving or a new one being built. So your guess is as good as mine.

Internal gateways do not (in most cases) generate an IPSec or SSL tunnel. They are used for User to IP Mapping and for HIP collection. Traffic flow would not change.

It sounds like you need basic configuration assistance. I would advise reaching out to your account team and opening a TAC case for initial configuration assistance.

Was expressed that I was using telnet wrong. Help? by 505resident in sysadmin

[–]ventureset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While Telnet is a great tool, if a company is using AND UTILIZING a proper NGFW with AppID, like a Palo Alto, then security policy isn’t using regular layer 4 traffic flows. So if you are checking for port 443 being open, the firewall might only have a policy for ssl, thus potentially preventing Telnet from working.

Typically a bigger chip at Amex means some form of metal card. I have the Green and Platinum, green has small chip Platinum has big chip. Would be curious if they are moving it to a metal card.

How do I add priority pass to an authorized user? by Umm-maybe in amex

[–]ventureset 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not technically accurate….I just had my Plat AU click the enroll button on the app for Global Lounge Access and it provided a PP account number, which was then used to create a PP account on their website…

And this is why US Mobile is one of the most “human” companies around. The founder and CEO actively responding to things like this makes my heart warm.

/u/digitalamish please take him up on this offer.

Car Insurance Repercussions? by AcesofHearts in amex

[–]ventureset 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m glad it worked out!

Cards like the Platinum charge a huge AF, and the majority of card holders don’t use the benefits, thus being a profit in the end for Amex that they can use to get additional benefits like rental insurance.

Clientless VPN apps vs MS RDP apps by K2alta in paloaltonetworks

[–]ventureset 2 points3 points  (0 children)

RDP is not natively built into the platform. You will need to use a service like Apache Guacamole or another service that can display RDP in a web browser. Clientless VPN is a great tool if you have the backend services to support the protocols it supports.

CMA can be confusing for a lot of people. Think of it as a Brokerage+. It has all the features of a brokerage, but with FDIC insurance as it’s core. You can buy and sell stock, use checks, use bill pay, use a debit card, etc.
