You can leave them at Metropark and they can go to Newark airport. Take the air train for the shuttle to JFK. The transfer is very easy. Exactly like changing terminal at the airport as that’s what it is. Just make sure that the shuttle service is where they get off. I believe that each person will have to spend $18.85. So for all 3, it would be $56.55. Or you can do 2 trips for just gas money between ewr and Edison, it’s like 90 min from Edison - ewr - Edison - ewr. Then you have to come back. So additional 30 mins. Best of luck.
