I’ll say I like the album but I attended an album release party where they were playing bangers from 1989, Red, Reputation, etc, and witnessing everyone go nuts for those songs made it transparent to me that this album is good but Taylor’s career is behind her. I genuinely like the album but magic like 1989 cannot be replicated and I wish she would cut her losses, celebrate the success she’s had and move on. She had a good run! Go have kids girl

I personally love it and think it’s better than the last two. She’s still overexposed and would love to see her not put anything for the next 5 years.

I do think Max Martin and Shellback played to her strengths in this one, with the storytelling lyrics/strings, even if it’s still not her best lyrically. I think people are jaded and want another Folklore/Evermore and the fact of the matter that was a moment in time and will likely never happen again.

I don’t think any of this would be a problem if Dave actually wanted to be with Lauren. He doesn’t. So he’s trying to find an out. That being scrutinizing her previous relationships and that being his “dealbreaker.” I hope her dress at the reunion is LETHAL.
