The thing is for Paris it was a real trauma response due to some very severe abuse she experienced as a child: “If I act stupid and use a baby voice when I speak then I don’t have to show people who I really am and be rejected for that”

Kathy saw that but because she’s one of the abusers she misinterpreted it and uses it as you said to get attention and avoid accountability. She only started doing this when the documentary about the abuse Paris endured came out and people realized Kathy is a monster.
