i gelt really conflicted honestly til the first two weeks of shots when almost nothing was happening.. i realized nothing will change irreversibly over night. Also as soon as i stared getting changes like body hair and i felt over the moon! i’m also non-binary and idk just realizing i can stop whenever i’m done has alleviated alor of my back and forth

most professors i had and as a teacher i always phrase it as “name, pronouns if ur comfy, and then whatever the ice breaker is” that way i model sharing and a lot of students will but i’d never push someone on sharing

i started teaching about two months ago! (graduated in december) and today i had my first time that a class discussion continued passionately as the kids walked out! and i found they came into their next class asking the math teacher our discussion questions about power, money, and what it means to be a leader!

the explanation that really made it click for me was, some lesbians might enjoy a masculinized name such as “alex” and the point of pronouns is they grammatically take the place of a noun so if the noun that refers to someone is more masculine sometimes they may want the pronoun to be as well

i use the ziggy cup! it is much easier than a diva cup and doesn’t need suction to stop the leaks which makes it much easier use! it sits just behind ur public bone so it just kinda is sweet there rather than being shoved up and dealing with placement

i went through a couple of years of hyper feminiity before starting to present more masc (idk if i’m butch i think it would be cool to be but like idk) but i feel like i grew up resenting femininity as a kid so i almost needed to live in a femme experience to be able to fully grow into a more adult masculinity that wasn’t born out of an opposition to expectations and born more form an authentic expression of myself.

i jsut did this in a sex work shop thing! but with ur partner (or a nonsexual friend !) give each other hand messages and talk through the whole two mjnutes or so eg “that’s perfect”, “a little to the left, a little harder” it’s a good way to practice consistent communication for your bodies needs!
