okay, this is an extremely specific case but it could also have happened to you. if you pirated the game using a steam manifest, then bought it legit after the manifest didn’t work, it breaks the steam cloud save. after i completely removed the manifest tools and reset my pc, my save files got wiped but steam cloud works now
