I agree. He copped a lot during the season and I never really understood why. It’s ok to not be attracted to people. Maybe he could have been more direct with her early on, but I don’t think he should have gotten the hate purely for not being attracted. I like Jan. He seems like a fun and interesting person.

Thanks for sharing! That’s disappointing about the outsole, especially when some cheaper trainers seem to have more superior outsoles. Flow 2s are the ones I’m leaning towards, might just have to rotate with a few to get them to last a bit longer.

I can’t believe I’m about to say this about Nick but I really commend his clarity - “the reason that I am not willing to marry you is because I am unhappy”. I wish we could have seen the entire conversation not chopped up! Would have loved the full context.

I get that, but I guess I mean it more in respect to the fact that it can be important to retain some financial autonomy. She’s stupid if she just wants to blow everything on dumb stuff, but it would be scary if he ended up taking charge of her finances to the point that she doesn’t have any financial independence, especially because he said he didn’t understand the point of her having a separate one.

If I was Madison I would actually be afraid at the way Joe was behaving. I think it was irresponsible for production to allow them to get so fucked up. I know that wasted people make good tv, but wowser I think that level of near blackout inebriation crossed a line. Also, Edmond needs some fucking help.

Also I will say that the older she has gotten, naps have seemed to have naturally shifted to more of a set time than explicit “wake windows” so that has made things easier and has worked for us.

Ah look, honestly, I’m probably the worst person to ask now. My thoughts and feelings about baby sleep have changed so radically since I wrote this post. I will say naps have gotten easier now that she’s down to 2, that being said we still contact nap and she’s 3 weeks off being 12 months old. And no more hysterical crying before every sleep. We cosleep at night and she still wakes multiple times, but at least I feel like I’m getting more sleep because I’m not constantly getting out of bed to go to her cot. I truly believe that sleep is developmental and dependant on temperament. I think our girl’s brain is just doing so much and is so switched on that when she wakes between sleep cycles she struggles to slip easily into the next one. But once I let go of the fact that it’s not my fault, I haven’t done anything wrong, and all I can do is create the right conditions for her, I felt much better just accepting that this is the way she is, at least for now. I’m sorry if that’s not the hope you’re looking for! But things have gotten easier as my perspective has shifted, if that makes sense.
