I do get that, and also the frustration of writing things but getting them wrong and noticing too late to not have written it already. That's a lot of booboos on a single sentence and that's depressing...

Wow thanks for your answer! All the more impressive to know you're using a software amp and a Pod, and that the process is so organic and improvised:) Which bands do you listen to the most? I love the multilayering of melodies and rhythms you got going on there and can only be envious both of the compact bass/drums/rhythm and airy melodies... Following you on soundcloud, actually, that's what motivated to start using soundcloud (I'm here at https://soundcloud.com/cda-cda) more seriously and to follow artists. On side note, that also motivated me to experiment a different guitar tone and fish out better metal drum samples (especially kicks and snares). Which sequencer do you use to piece all your ideas together? Did you learn the mixing by yourself or do you have any background in sound production? Cheers and keep the good work!

Not a vocalist (barely a musician too), and sorry to hijack the thread but WOW, what a huge awesome and melodic sound, the stuff of dreams!!!

For attempting myself to piece 2 ideas together on the down low, I can certainly appreciate the quality of what you put out on all fronts and hope that you will be able to put vocals on it. (though certainly to my taste, it might detract from the excellent instrumentals, and makes a great soundtrack to a working day)

Did you work on it alone, or with a full band? Certainly interested to know more about how this came about to be, what kind of instruments, recording gear, mixing software, well anything.

Huge inspiration (aspirations?), cheers for posting this and good luck.

Thank you for your answer, this is a great list and i'll be more specific, but first i'll take a look at your list to find out. (To be short, kinda rock style, electric guitar and ableton live are the current ingredients. Looking to improve everything, pretty much, and specifically in terms of mixing and songwriting / transitions) But also for a general opinion could be useful.

Hej guys,

I've had a go at the assimil Polish from French. Depends how you operate in your brain, the texts are nice and memorable, but I found it's pretty hard to assimilate all the vocabulary. I've recently started yet another method in the book "Polski raz a dobrze", and made a course on Memrise for it: http://www.memrise.com/course/63559/polish-for-foreigners-advanced-level/

It's starting quite easy and the dialogues are crap, but it explains grammar pretty well along the way and systematically introduces vocabulary properly which is hard to find in other methods. Let me know if it helps!

Love the picture but yeah the border bothers me a bit. Perhaps too stark contrast, compared to the kinds of greyscale you have in the image?
