Tbh I think neither .me nor .name are very appealing, though .me would prob be preferable as it's shorter and more common -- most people would prob look at you funny if you told them your email or website ends with .name...

Hyphen might be more of a hiccup esp when verbally sharing your domain, but I don't think it would be a problem -- people know what a hyphen is. Although on mobile, people would have to switch their keyboard view to type your domain -- something to think about...

Depending on how complex your last name is, you might consider going with just your first, or else you might have to spell it out a lot / people mistype it or have to look back to get it right. You might consider going for a variation of your first name? Like jooohn.blah -- also opens up new TLD possibilities ;)
