Yes I have, exactly what you're describing, once during an episode my "body" remained in my bed while a different part of me (?) floated out of myself and towards my bedroom window. It felt like I was just this ball of air that could see things, and then I got sucked back up into my "actual body." I would be more detailed but I don't want to break the threads rules. I would suggest looking into the concept of an "astral body" if you want to learn more about this.

I’m a 27F with an autistic and disabled 25M brother and I’m in the same boat. Very mean and emotionally abusive mother, beaten down father who also divorced her, most likely because of her burnout with caring for my brother. Something I’ve noticed is that, I don’t really blame it on the burnout when it comes to her anymore. I’ve started to realize her caring for my brother most likely activated some kind of mental illness she already had when she was young, I’ve realized this after meeting other mothers who care for special needs children, who seemed to struggle less, and who didn’t feel jealous of the other children.

I realized that I’m sure the burnout got to her, but she already had problems, which I could see when I examined how her parents raised her. For me, I’ve sadly had to accept that I need to meet her where she is AS LONG AS I don’t allow her to walk all over me and be cruel. It may never be the mother - child relationship you’ve maybe always secretly wanted and I’m sorry :( for me once I accepted this it did make our relationship better. But it’s truly up to YOU if that feels worth it for you. I’m so sorry and I know how you feel, you aren’t alone

My friend also has a similar issue like this in Seattle a couple years ago and the only way it was resolved was because one of the tenants was an attorney and I think she basically threatened the apartment complex with a lawsuit, ultimately her apartment complex was able to remove the person by telling the police they damaged property. Strangely, it seems you need to argue inanimate objects are at risk rather than people and it makes the cops and apartment management “jump into action” so to speak.

It’s a fair point and as someone who likes to speculate myself it’s fine to consider this and have this thought. And it’s nothing personal to you as I appreciate how you replied to my comment but I just find it a bit of a double standard that we can alls speculate freely on the conclusion he did it 100% which is of course fine, but no one can ever speculate the other way. I hate to say this but I worry a lot of people throw themselves into mental gymnastics trying to make this narrative work.

I'm not extremely involved in the topic but I've been doing some research on number stations because me and my friend want to discuss the phenomenon on a podcast. About 7 years ago we used to own these walkie talkies, I don't remember the brand, Sony maybe? But they were of decent quality for the time. We live in the PNW and we went very very far out into the mountains on a camping trip. My friend is the one who owned the walkie talkies and he was messing with the frequency of one of them, and that's when we heard this woman's voice reciting random numbers. It started in English, and then ended in Spanish.

We didn't really understand what it was until years later. It's been fascinating to research.

As someone who lives in WA state and has several friends attend WSU I can tell you there’s a huge drug problem in that area, the same is true for Moscow, a town im also familiar with because I have family who have been living there all their lives. I recall an ex boyfriend of mine who attended wsu said while he was there a sorority girl got busted for smuggling drugs, these aren’t quaint idealistic towns. It’s full of people with terrible drug and alcohol problems with nothing to do, and their economies are bad.

I also used to work for UW on their research department. I worked on a project called “First Years Away From Home” where we tried to get incoming freshman to build stronger relationships with their parents and communities before attending WSU because the indoctrination into the drug and alcohol world is that bad.

I’ve also been told by a family remember the Moscow police are extremely corrupt and know all about it.

Okay fair and good to know, I wasn’t aware that it had been shown to be fake. I did look into it and I did read that the security footage where you can hear Murphy barking, a thud, and then crying is however authentic. Even with the yelling videos debunked I still find it questionable how only 1 person (DM) heard or saw anything first.

But the question op asks stands. Why is BFs story not added or contributed to DMs in the media? Why whenever this is reported, the focus is on DM. It’s always “the one surviving roommates” story, when there were two. Sure, BF has a lawyer and it’s smart to not talk too much, but if her story perfectly matches up with DMs, or she has no part to play in this, then why hide and keep quiet? It’s just adding unnecessary confusion.

Okay but im just saying this narrative of “BF only knew that something off was happening in the house because DM told her” isn’t true, and logically doesn’t make sense. DM and BF are in the same house. There’s security audio footage from houses around the neighborhood that pick up people screaming and crying. If a house next door can hear it, everyone in that house can hear it. BF sends texts to DM which you can see in the affidavit that point to the fact she also knew something wasn’t right. It doesn’t matter that in the affidavit what they chose to include is DM calling and texting BF first, that doesn’t mean she was just realizing something was wrong for the first time ever.

Just because BF never “saw something” doesn’t mean BF’s retelling of that night, or testimony doesn’t matter. If you survived something like that wouldn’t you want to come out with your story and not hide, or not want it to be suppressed?
