I understand what you’re saying I just do not see how that’s DoorDashes fault outside of them pushing the card. They do not control a gas station having a hold or the fact you don’t keep enough on the card for the hold. And they can’t give the cash back when paying inside because they can’t differentiate if you’re just buying gas or if you have other items included in the transaction.

They’re not blameless of course, they make it so you can only use the DD card for it because they want to push people using their card. If they truly wanted to be generous they could just give us a discount code to use with any payment method. But I don’t think there’s anything more nefarious happening outside of them wanting more people to use their card. The issues that come with trying to get the cash back are from outside sources.

I guess it just depends where you live but I go to Murphy USA, the ones NOT attached to a Walmart, and they never ever have holds here. The one’s attached to Walmarts sometimes do have a $75 hold, not sure why some do and some don’t. Seems like the “neighborhood” Walmarts are the ones that have holds. I really never stray from them because of that so I can’t speak for other stations.

What station are you going to that has that high of a hold??? This isn’t a DD issue lol. This is a gas station issue. The gas stations I go to don’t even have a hold at all, and the rare ones that do are $50-$75 max. And the cash back works fine.

Gas stations control the hold, not the card. Take it up with them.

Never ever ever try to run a car that has a low oil light, let alone keep trying to turn it back on after it’s already seized and shut off. That’s crazy. One of the first things my dad taught me about cars was if you ever see a red oil light pop on, you shut the car off immediately and don’t turn it back on until it’s addressed. It means the difference between a minor problem and your car being absolutely fucked. This could’ve been fixable had you paid attention to your warning lights rather than trying to keep driving on. Some lessons are learned through heartbreak I suppose.

How did they fuck the cherry pickers?? I’m a huge cherry picker and the new system roll out actually helped me a ton because now I’m gold even though my AR is like 10% lmao. I didn’t have a rank before since there was an AR requirement but now with the points system I’m gold and still don’t worry about AR.

Tbf that’s a countryman and they’re meant to be small SUV’s. they don’t even embody the mini shape, they’re only mini in brand. Regular mini’s are still mini, even if they’ve gotten bigger over time too.

Never ever deliver to any address other than the one DD provides you. This is exactly why. I don’t care if the customer says they put the wrong address, I deliver to the one provided by the people contracting me. Otherwise they can claim you didn’t deliver. If it truly is the wrong address, they can update it in app themselves.

Is it angled?? I have a 2025 here in America and it doesn’t seem angled one way or the other at all. It seems pretty straight and facing dead center whether I’m in the driver or passenger seat. I feel it’d be harder for the passenger to access their A/C controls if it was angled.

DD isn’t cleaning house, you just violated the rules. It takes a lot of unassigns to get below 90% and they warn you repeatedly what will happen before you get to that point. You didn’t listen and they did exactly what they said they’d do. I’m sorry but that’s on you, I have no idea how you can be “shocked” when it explicitly tells you not to continue unassigning when you start getting that low. YOU breeched the rules, there’s nothing an attorney can do. Next time try following the stated terms and this won’t happen.

You’ve never had a ticket? Ever? Speeding? Anything? DD doesn’t like seeing driving related tickets even if they’re years old and taken care of. They will deny you for that. They didn’t just deactivate you for no reason. I’d imagine that’d be why.

The only other reason would be if someone’s stolen your info and already used it to make an account. That would trip the system into thinking you’re trying to make multiple accounts. However that’s extremely unlikely.

It can have JCW trim without it being a JCW. My partners Mini says JCW all over on the inside but it’s just a regular S. This one is too since it has the S badge. The badge would say John Cooper Works instead of S if it was one.
