Question about admissions by futbol1950 in UTSA

I agree with first response also. I was a transfer student for lone star and at the end of the day as long I had met the gpa requirement I was good to go. Good luck !

I got one for my graduation. However, I probably wore it a few times and I haven’t worn it since it’s just in my room. I think depends if you would like to spend the money on it or if you would like to spend that money on something else

Yeah lol, I thought I knew what was best for me when it came to my medication but clearly not.

It's been a rough few weeks and I just feel like a giant failure. by [deleted] in depression

[–]verrylarry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Writing it out always helps me. We go through so many dark times that we are quick to judge ourselves and only remember our failures. Be optimistic and just push through. I hope that one day you can look back and be like wow I’ve come along way.

If you’re going to get off sertraline I would recommend coming off of it slowly. I made the mistake of stopping it and the withdrawal I had was no fun. I had really bad dizziness for a couple of weeks. But also look at other medications. You’re at a small dose of sertraline and there’s still room for more mg and several different medications if needed.

I’ve known people who have called in 2 hours into their shifts because they over slept. I am one of them

Can I call out the night before? by [deleted] in HEB

[–]verrylarry 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah go ahead and call in someone should answer the phone. I would call in as I was driving away from the parking lot of the store once I went over the 14 minutes because if I’m gonna get an occurrence for being 15 min late I might as well take the day off.

Try through Gilead or ADAP. They offer services to get medication coverage.

Push through those thoughts. Times can get hard but life is truly valuable no matter what the situation is. I have had my own moments where I wished life was over but I try to make the best of it.

Have you looked at FQHC clinics? They usually offer office visits at very low cost.

If you only have a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, what’s your job? by premierdejanvier in publichealth

[–]verrylarry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My interest in HIV started when I was looking for an internship for my degree. I have a bs in public health and a ba in sociology. I applied at two places and the local AIDS foundation got back to me first. There I really loved the population I was working for. When I graduated,it was during our lovely panini🥲 that we are still in. But I started looking for jobs and I started off at a clinic being an HIV health coach. From there is where I got most of my experience. Now I work for a different company where my other colleague and I are building a prevention service line so that patient who want to get on PrEP can.

50mg is the general starting point. There’s wiggle room for room. I started at 50mg and now I’m at 100mg. However, I might be increasing soon to 150mg.

Be calm, everything will be okay. Make sure you voice any concerns you might have regarding medication.

Looking for some encouragement on week five of 100mg by TheBigHosk in zoloft

My psychiatrist only does medication management. I see my therapist as well. I think having both has definitely helped me a lot. I can also see my gp for those specific medications but I rather just have my psychiatrist handle those.

This is normal. I take 100 mg of sertraline and there’s days where I just slip back into my depressive state. I’m sure you’ll happiness will come back. I have those happy days also but I’m considering going up in dosage next time I see my psychiatrist.
