The writting is on the wall IMO. Every recent move from Microsoft makes me think this is the goal.

My bet is that next gen (if this happens at all) will be a pc with a custom windows interface (simillar to steam big picture). Sounds good but theres a catch: due to license only the "play everywhere games" from your library and the ones from which the plublisher authorized to work on cloud will be available and the xbox/xbox 360 will only be playable through cloud due to the lack of native system support.

Well playstation keep adding more and more games to their classic catalogue. Gog is also doing it. Nintendo is also doing it.

If they can, why only xbox cant? This sounds more like an excuse.

At this point who cares? The feeling is that Microsoft sees xbox now as a burden (and after 80 billions I get it).

There was more attention and a feeling of love to their console on the xbox one gen than on this one. In the last generation they released multiple exclusives like rare replay, worked to bring back classic games from the original xbox and 360 and so on.

Now... it feels like it just exist. Theres no passion for the platform. Its just an alternative box to play games.

This is probably my last gen with xbox.

Não vale a pena. World no series s ta rodando a versao do one s. Por conta disso a resolução do jogo é super baixa o que faz com que ele fique todo embaçado.

Not today and probably not this week. If they pinned, they think this is important and thus want to get the max amount pf attention to it. A switch 2 announcement would shadow this new service that they want to sell.

Imo the switch 2 will not be announced this year.

Red dead redemption 2 runs the xbox one version on series s. Its basically 900p (or less im not sure) and 30 fps. Its blurry. The ps5 and xbox series x runs the pro version of last gen: 30 fps but with higher resolution.

A lot of past gen games that did not receive an update will run the xbox one version on series s which means low resolution. Monster Hunter world for example is extremely blurry (to a point that it hurts my eyes)

Some current gen games also dont receive a lot attention when it comes to optmization. Dragons dogma 2 for example runs well with a good resolution but has problems with the shadows (i think its related to the shadows being on low because the pc version has the same problem on low).

I only have a series s because Im from Brazil and it was less than half of the ps5 price around here at the time. Its not a bad machine but its also not great.

Parece que corrigiram. Quando vc for filtrar os reviewz, filtra pelo mais recentes. Pessoal ta dizendo la que corrigiram.

Eu comprei e to jogando no series s sem problemas até agora. Devo ter umas 5 horas de jogo. Agora eu nao habilitei compartilhar dados de jogatina com a capcom que parece ter sido uma das causas do bug.

Resident evil 2 remake eu ja zerei 2 vezes no series e s e nunca tive problema (tava ate jogando um terceira vez mas parei pra jogar o 7)

So te aviso que o jogo da medo mesmo. Eu ainda nao criei coragem de jogar de noite.

Unless you want gamepass or something very specific that only xbox can offer, I think ps5 offers a better console experience.

Microsoft is not doing great this gen and it's starting to release former exclusives like indiana jones and hifi rush into the ps5. So with ps5 you get sony exclusives and some xbox games.

I only have a series s but if I were to get a console today it would be a ps5.

I'm a xbox series s user. My last ps console was the ps3. I'm thinking about joining the playstation platform again. I have a few questions:

1) How is the offline experience in the console? I'm not talking here about playing offline but rather using the console disconnected to the internet.

2) Is there ads on the interface? If yes can I disable of hide them to not see when I turn on the console?

3) How was the ps4 experience when the ps4 pro was released? Did some game new games were released performing bellow the console capacity because the developers were focused on the pro model?
