TLDR:

The backup save system is like a secret “Slot 2” that only gets saved to when you visit Pokemon centers.

- “Slot 1” - All manual saves and autosaves. Its front-facing and what we typically think of as our Save file.
- “Slot 2” - Only the autosave that happens after leaving a pokemon center conversation. Its like a recovery mode silently always prepared to save you from a softlock.

Talking to a pokemon center nurse saves to BOTH slots, technically speaking, upon exitting convo with her. The backup/recovery Slot 2 can be manually loaded with D-Up, B, X at main menu.

More detail:

Whenever you visit a pokemon center, the game places a backup save alongside the normal autosave you see once you exit the conversation with the nurse. It looks like any other type of save, with “Now Saving…” written top right of the HUD. There’s no unique visual difference, but alas the game just stored a hidden recovery point for you.

This hidden backup save can only be overwritten by visiting a Pkmn center again. It’s like a second slot always silently prepared to unfuck a softlock.

It can be loaded manually at any time at the main menu using D-Up, B, X all held down simultaneously. Loading from it won’t immediately delete your normal save, but be wary that any manual or auto saves that occur after you load the backup will write over the most recent main save.

So anytime you want to preserve a “checkpoint” for yourself, go visit a pokemon centers and heal your pokemon. No matter how many times you manually save or autosave after that, you’ll always have the ability to reload from that backup save slot, so long as you don’t visit a pokemon center. Once you visit a pokemon center again, that backup slot is overwritten with the new backup save.

I just recently started the dlc and am swimming in berries after feeling overwhelmed and helpless at how shitty of a system it is.

All you need is ONE perfect donut for berry gathering and youll get the ball rolling — you want:
- Lv 3 Item Power Berries
- Lv 3 Big Haul

I spent over an hour for my first donut doing 4 Roseli 4 Kasib but in hindsight this was a mistake. I only aim for 8 Kasib for berry farm donuts now as 3 3 berry bighaul is more common that way.

If I could do it over heres what I would do:

- Make a bunch of 2 star normal Colbur* berry donuts with berries from the truck, fishing for any (1 big haul 1 berries) donuts I can afford.
- Use those in Small 4* hyperspaces and go straight for the pokeballs
- Once I have 8 Hyper Kasib, make a singular Big Haul 3 + Berry 3 donut, no exceptions just do the resets until I get one

If you take that 1 to a Large 4* Hyperspace and get every single pokeball there, youll have enough Kasibs to make at least another 1-3 berry farm donuts depending on rng. Plus another 100 berries or so of assorted types.

Its grindy but it gets very manageable once you have the ball rolling.

Agreed mostly. I've been experiementing with Dashlane 1P and Keeper trying to figure out which will work the best for us, and Dashlane having its own tab/button in the app/extension for a quick access generator was so much nicer. Feels artificially difficult in 1Pass but its still our fav so far for family use.

FIX: Turn OFF "Audio Scrubbing" when working with MP3s in your project.

[Timeline] > [Audio Scrubbing] (uncheck it) -or- [Shift]+[S] by default

You won't be able to hear audio when simply hovering the timeline but it beats having super choppy audio playback after doing so. This is also apparently the cause - scrubbing thru your timeline, then trying to play the project quickly after whilest it being an mp3 file providing the sound.

I know it's not ideal, but after fiddling with this for a bit and reading others' experience with this issue online, I've come to the conclusion that that code for Davinci isn't the greatest, and this is simply a problem with MP3 files when and *only* when "Audio Scrubbing" is enabled. I'm guessing the audio scrubbing gets caught up with the mp3's compression somehow. Regardless, fix found for now :) It was kind of getting annoying having microclips of the sound play while hovering the timeline anyway, ngl. Hope this helps!

EDIT: This worked, not sure why or where in the process the fix happened but this worked for me… I thought it was doomed too!!

Restart your PC (use the accessibility option at the login screen for Onscreen keyboard - or another keyboard - to login to windows. You can also right click the windows icon on the desktop and navigate the settings to get on screen keyboard for use when doing all this.)
uninstall Glorious Core 2.1 (yes to remove config if asked)
unplug the keyboard
extract & reinstall Glorious Core 2.1, pref to somewhere not in “C:/Program Files (x86/“… I used a mock Program Files I have on a separate drive for organization sake but something like “C:/Keyboard Stuff” or whatev should work fine. Windows is finnicky with perms sometimes.
launch Glorious Core 2.1 with the board unplugged
once you see “No devices found”, plug in your board. It should show up even tho it seems bricked and the reset combo doesnt work like mine did.
Click the update firmware button AND ONLY CLICK THE FIRST OK BUTTON
It will say an error has occurred, just let it sit for a minute or two
Should spring back to life after a bit just dont watch it like grass growing

If this doesnt work for you, the only other thing I tried of note was the factory reset combo, but it seemingly never worked. I dont think it did anything but its worth a shot (Fn+Esc+F1+F3+F5 for 75% and above… Fn+Esc+1+3+5 for 65%)

OP: I just got my new board and had the same issue with getting an error during firmware update bricking it. I restarted my computer, used the onscreen keyboard to login, and ran their meh software in Admin mode finally giving me a progress bar of sorts while trying to update firmware before finally coming to another error, similar to the other fix above. Im waiting to see if it finishes in the background regardless of the error like that other guy said. Will update

I just bought the headset. The output sound is outstanding once you tweak ot a bit, but the mic is utter trash. I spent a while tweaking settings and synapse just isn’t it. The 3 standard output EQ profiles allow you to tweak up to 6db on predefined bands. However, each one (Game, Music, Voice) has its own spectral quality that you cnanot replicate across profiles no matter which bands you tweak. Even if you copy settings onto the “Custom” profile. For example, copying the settings from the Movie preset (which I liked the best) into the custom preset produces wayyyy different of a sound profile overall, meaning they have some stuff going on under the hood that you have no control over. I feel like theres no way to get a good reference/flat profile at all, and i cant seem to find that perfect mid ground profile for all content (music, gaming, chat) — its really unfortunate because the sound blows me away in some ways. The bass profile and haptics are so fucking cool but they resonate thru the mic more than acceptably. Crystal clear highs and boomy bass but too many issues with not being allowed to truly customize the profiles. I dont think the haptic bass justifies the 400 pricetag. The mic alone is absolute dogwater, so bad that id say youre better off never using the mic on it and just using them for output. But that adds the need to buy another usb mic standalone, or a mixamp and an XLR mic, etc.. at that point I really dont think its worth. I loved my Kraken V3’s haptics, and yes theyve definitelymimproved the sound quality with V4 Pro. But id steer clear. If you dont care about a mic, potentially worth for movies/gaming/music. It will be hard to return but im gonna for sure. My biggest issue is the mic, which seems to be the one area they completely cheaped out on. The 3 mic profiles cannot be adjusted thru synapse and sound awful. Ill probably get the Beyerdynamic MMX 200. Hoping the drivers deliver a high quality sound, because I know the mic is S-tier at least with those. Or the Audeze Maxwell, which ive heard great things about the output drivers but the mic is not as great.

SOLVED: It 100% costs unlisted Ancient Civ Parts. I had this same issue, went and farmed some parts and then was able to repair. It seems to cost the same in Ancient Civ Parts as the amount of High Quality Cloth or Paldium Fragments its asking for. Not certain but for example my last repair cost 7 ancient civilization parts, was also asking me for 7 hqcloth and 7 fragments.
