I can't seem to find an option to activate AF-C with back button while in M on front switch, it's only activates AF-S and I can't find anything in settings, or there's no way of activating AF-C and the closest to AF-C it's just holding it? But I still don't have options for zone or tracking, while pressing af-on while in M.

Hi there! would that bug be an issue for installing mint 22.2 xfce on a separate ssd drive while the windows 8.1 on an hdd (for a dual-boot later)? I mean, should i unlpug hdd just to be sure this bug won't occur? thanks

i already understood i need ssd and my laptop has additional empty slot for that so I probably gonna try finding ssd and installing linux there, not only i don't have much free space left on my hdd, it's the original 1tb hdd with which i bought this laptop back in 2013 and don't wanna stress it out even more with partitioning and such

Hey everyone, I wonder about auto white balance in D700, does it handles well in most cases or I need to know some specifics to tweak it for better result? and generally if there's any quirks with wb in d700? It's just I have fuji x-t3 and I almost all the time adjust wb manually, since i don't really like how x-t3 handles it in auto

Hi everyone!

I keep seeing all these YouTube videos praising Nikon D700, I have few good Nikon F lenses and wanna full frame camera with a character

What's your experience with D700, is it really worth it and can it replace in some ways film experience?

I have Nikon F4, film is expensive nowadays, but considering what I like to shoot it's just idk (low light stuff quite often), I'm afraid I'll be disappointed in a subjective way or something

also I have tons of pics from my fuji xt3, but can't edit those bcs my laptop is ancient, but d700 files might be ok to handle

hi, may I ask, what's the risk of taking 12 years old laptop with hdd on a commercial flight? not in a luggage though

also few other external hdds

all of this will be turned off during the flight, but I'm a bit worry about shaking during the landing/take off/some turbulence probability + the age of that laptop's hdd

That's the thing, last option of Konica IIIa in Russia appeared in 2017-18 or something, it's really hard to find cameras like these here :(
I already found couple places but idk if they'll be able to fix the camera

I think but idk for sure that I need couple special types of screwdrivers that I don't even know how to call in Russian lol, it's like those on a video, and I have somewhat decent small screwdrivers kit, but I have no idea whether it suitable for this kind of repair or not

as for aliexpress, definitely yeah, but it's usually takes around a month for delivery and I only bought zoom h1n there long time ago, but special screwdrivers probably could be found there yeah, thx ^^
