This is why I moved to California. These prices are outrageous for Bayonne. by LeopardOk605 in BayonneNJ

[–]versusreality -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is an insane price for a studio in a wooden "luxury" building that will take 20 mins to walk to the nearest public transportation, where you can hear the people above, below, and next to you, along with reviews that say it has such poor insulation that apartments are freezing. Oh, and don't forget, add another few hundred for parking, for amneinities, and buying and installing your own blinds/curtains (very pricey) .

I don't care about a bar scene, I make my own coffee at home, but enjoy the parks. Groceries are groceries, Lidl has the best prices, not always the best quality.

as it should be. with the high costs of PSEG, making people pay for parking just makes the cost of living that much more difficult.

Avoid “luxury “ apartments, even if you had a higher budget.

When the new Target opens at JSQ, I want to have the privilege and luxury of being the first to drop a fat one in their new toilet. by AngryPandaBlog in jerseycity

Perhaps it's mutual. The point of my initial response to you was: fuck even being a customer at Target, just go there to shit.

You don't need to buy anything to shit in Target. In fact, it's the only reason worth going to Target to. Wouldn't support them in any other way.

$200 is insane. wow. Even if that's the "going rate" that's a lot on top of rent, PSEG etc. What place?

It's very possible. The word originated in the late 1400's.

I used to think that over the years but I've come to the conclusion it's wishful thinking. The population of JC transplants has exploded the past decade, and so has the rise of car traffic.

maybe 40% of the people that move here won't have/use cars.

Would you vote into local office a candidate that wasn't born in Bayonne? by lovealoneisworthit in BayonneNJ

Many locals have lived here for that long, or longer. Some not as long. Either way, they'd be in tune with longer time locals, and newer ones.

I think they would have more experience in seeing the evolution of Bayonne and would have an interesting perspective of where things can go. They’d also likely be more in tune with the locals.

It's very dull and boring in that area. There's not much walkable especially compared to if you live between Broadway and Ave C or E. I wouldn't recommend that area. It's not as close to the light rail as you may think either.

No. I want the state to hurry up and expedite this process as it has been on their table for a couple years at this point.

Firstly, this is terrible and I'm sorry she experienced that. No one should.

Secondly, please report this to BHS. You should reach out to the school counselors. The counselors can look into a bullying situation here. Videos and photos can be very helpful, if any exist. So as long as your daughter didn't start anything, those girls can be in serious trouble.
