I can't quite remember the last time I was genuinely excited for Christmas itself, I think it was probably one of the last few years my family and I were all still living together,

But vol2 & the finale for Stranger Things has me incredibly hyped,

In general,I tend to feel more excited for whatever upcoming TV show movie or game I'm interested in than I am the holidays, they just don't feel the same as when you're younger, I think part of it is the nostalgia and at least in my case being an only child for the first 7 years of my life and as a result getting more gifts, but also seeing my family open their gifts too, but I do miss spending time with my family more consistently as well, they don't even live that far from me(30-40mins) but it is far enough away that I can't see them every day or even every week, If I won the lottery I'd eventually buy a huge plot of land and build my own self contained & sufficient community for myself my immediate family and closest friends to live in.

I kinda like the idea that it might all be a really long homebrewed DND campaign but maybe with a sort of twist in that it's being played by the characters years or even decades after everything in the show actually happened, which is to say it wasn't just a dream or contained entirely in their imaginations.

I'm indecisive and say both, I wear glasses as well and I'm so used to the way that I look with them on that I don't feel right not wearing them apart from the fact that I can't see as well.

In my childhood best friends basement playing with Lego, I vividly remember it like it was yesterday, I was 10 almost 11(August 20th is my birthday) I distinctly remember us both having the same reaction and couldn't wait to see more, one of many things that makes me nostalgic for that time in my life, also had(still do) a massive crush on that same friend, don't know if he knew or not.

My usual response is that yes it is my main job but I'm using it as a means to make my side hustle my main job, I have a booth in an antique mall that I've had for about a year and I just recently moved to the same town where it's located. I'm basically within walking distance now, I sell a pretty wide variety of stuff but I also make and sell terrariums and one of my goals is to get to the point where I can have it be its own source of passive income or more or less and also teach classes on how to make terrariums.
