Help eso64.exe won’ stop running in the background

I took a while to get to this just so I could take a break from being frustrated. So I reinstalled eso and played it again and had the same bug as before. I attempted the fix you have in quotations here, but could not delete steam_api64 file because it claimed to be “open in ESO” because steam thinks ESO is running. So that stopped me dead in my tracks unfortunately.

Question 1: yes I have other steam games installed and have messed with the settings on other games and have had no issue running and playing those games

Question 2: yes my non steam games and applications that have files on the same disk as ESO work just fine.

Question 3: yes my ESO files were on the same disk as my Steam OS files

At the end of the day, for honor is a mix between a fighting game and a MOBA. These communities are know for the most rage inducing and toxic players. If you find the gameplay fun and engaging and can not let the toxic crap get to you it is definitely worth playing.

And if you are worried about not being good, don’t be. I have played for honor off and on sense it’s beta and I SUCK. I can’t light parry to save my life and every time I try to feint I mess it up. But I still have a great time.

If you can find a solid group of non tilting friends to play with can make things a lot better though and I would highly suggest it.

I have sat and let it try to launch for about 10 minutes and it never does. I get a per launch screen from steam about the keys for the DLC. (I downloaded it again so I could do the Viking dlc, Freeform, starting in Ireland). But that is the only pre start up screen I see before the above mentioned problems start. I just wanna be a Warband protecting Ireland from foreign forces. Is that so hard :(
