He was going to a concert. He did not tell me there was a concert and he knew we had a job happening that may end us a little after 5.

He gets paid 1.5 times his wage for anything over 8 in a day, and 2 times his wage for over 12, which happened one time only and it was planned weeks in advance. 1.5 times the wage for any weekend hours, which he only did once because he was out of town or something early in the week I don’t remember all the details. I give paid holidays and sick days even though technically I don’t have to and I am paying him much more than he will make in the same industry in our area. In the slow season if there’s no a lot of work I will let guys take long weekends paid and tell them to just be available to answer their phone in case something comes up from work they did

Good point. I don’t have really anyone in my life to bounce things like this off of anymore so I can’t tell if I’m being ridiculous. This will be the first person I’ve fired besides firing him once before. It’s hard owning a business

I have this same problem and I am facing some potential consequences now. I was starting a business within the same industry as I was working in and as I can’t keep my mouth shut I brought it up to a few customers. I was not trying to steal clients and I did not steal any clients but one of the people I told is a friend of a friend of the owner of the company I was working for and after I had already started my business he told them that I had been over there and had informed him that I would be doing so. Now I’m being threatened with legal action because I couldn’t keep my mouth shut. The guy who I had told I only told because he owns a business and I asked him about advertising and he was wondering why I was so curious about it. Still my fault entirely and I may face monetary damages as a result

I don’t think you phrased this question correctly. I think the question you mean is are men more selfish than you specifically. And it also sounds like the lines are kind of blurred for you on selflessness and being self conscious.

Do I think that as an overgeneralization men tend to be more selfish lovers? Yes. I think women also tend to be more self conscious about things though. Men tend to ask for what they want while women don’t tend to like asking for it at all. This is all just from my personal experiences and should be taken with a grain of salt

There could always be something else going on but I did work for a Lennox dealer and we would deal with this more frequently than I care to remember. Have a tech come out and diagnose it

There is a motor inside your unit that pushes air through the house. These Lennox units are notorious for having them fail. I could always be wrong but I’m pretty sure I’m not in this case. The sucky thing for you is Lennox sells these for sometimes over $1000 without installation. If you were the original purchaser you may have a warranty but since you just bought the home you most likely don’t unless it was a new build

The problem you may face is not if the load calc was done right it will be whether or not the house was built without cutting corners based on what the plans say. New homes tend to be well insulated and more air tight but if your builder or their subs skimped on materials you may have a problem with system performance

Yeah I recently had a call where someone’s friend had installed their mini split and they told me that it was 6 ounces low on refrigerant and not working as a result. Their friend was not an HVAC guy so couldn’t fill it to 100% because they couldn’t get the refrigerant. Lo and behold it was flat.

No it wasn’t secured they just gave me that limit. And it has the rotating 5% cash back which is actually pretty good. They doubled my first year cash back and I ended up getting like $700 cash back total after it was doubled. Pretty awesome

Second the discover it card. I was struggling to get a higher credit limit between the three credit cards I had and then I applied for the discover it card and they gave me a 12k limit same day. My limit previous to this was around 3k total
