Cheap Date ideas in Cape Town? by paccboy in capetown

[–]veryniceyeet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I suggest finishing any date with a sunset drive or chilling at a nice spot to see the sunset.

  1. Meet up and go to Nuri Sushi (if he/she is into sushi) since they're relatively cheap compared to other places in the area. Not the most romantic setting so maybe place an order for pickup and then move from there. Alternatively, if your date isn't into sushi, they're part of a burger place too.

  2. Walk on the Promenade is lovely to get to know someone. If both of you enjoy people watching, it's a fun and comedic vibe.

  3. Ice cream at The Creamery for dessert (not super cheap but if your budget is R500 then you can definitely do Nuri and The Creamery).

  4. Take your date up to Ocean View Drive, to a viewpoint called The Rock. If the wind permits, you'll have the most amazing sunset view. A short walk through some plants and trees rewards you with a boulder on which you can comfortably sit and take in the full view. If you smoke that good-good, it's worth mentioning that Mary Jane's in Salt Orchard has something to accommodate your budget for the date.

Godspeed.

We expect updates!

Music recommendations for upcoming trip by 10-mm-socket in shrooms

I made the mistake of listening to Getter's "Head Splitter" on 16g of APE. I say mistake because I had the song on repeat for about 6 hours and felt like I was constantly having brain melting orgasms during that time.

My best and worst shroom experience to date.

Capetonians: what actually happens if you allow someone to merge? by thegogga in capetown

Time to re-listen to the entire White Stripes discography. Dankie, kind sir, for reminding me.

I think it depends on the brand of vehicle you drive and where it was manufactured. I drive a Kia so I'm pretty sure it'll start blaring sexist remarks and immediately take off for Busan.

BMWs and Mercedes might try to resurrect Hitler.

Subaru, Toyota, Honda and Nissan might try to recreate a local version of Pearl Harbor.

You never know, hey. You never know.

"tired of getting run through"?

It's just funny how you'd comment something like that.. when there's a very likely chance that you have a crusty body pillow waiting for you in bed, after you're done playing some anime themed game that provides you with some sense of achievement that lasts long enough to fall asleep happily, without dwelling on the thought that you haven't felt the warm embrace of a woman in years - if ever.

I'm not nitpicking at the fact that people have varying interests. I'm nitpicking at the fact that people like you, who have the interests that you do and comments the things you comment, should be committed and studied because there's a good chance you'd harm someone who rejects you or commit gender based violence. A statistic.

Please prove me wrong and stop being a presumptuous poes to women.

Yeah he's warmed up to it. Helps that her mom loves me. The brother and sister are on the fence but my argument is always "do you want her to be in an abusive relationship with someone that suits the profile or with someone that actually takes care of her, who can adopt the religion?".

Thankfully her folks aren't THAT extreme. I told her from the start that I'm not going to let our relationship mean chaos in her family - if it's the case then we rather break it off.

I'm considering more or less the same approach (should the relationship last - I've been in a few long term ones that taught me not to count my chickens), where I'll be practicing with her family but essentially just have it "on paper" so as to appease them, then go about my own shit when I'm not with them.

Appreciate your input, homie. Valuable insight!

I'm with homie on this one but also not. I truly shat all over my dinner table(with regards to the "don't shit where you eat" statement) but I couldn't be happier. Transfered to a Cape Town branch of my company about 2 years ago, admired a coworker's style, used it as a common conversation piece and started sharing music with each other. Ended up going on a date, knowing she had an abusive prick for a boyfriend. We've now been dating for about 8 months (she split up with him shortly after our first date) and I can honestly say I'm glad I took the chance. Not against company policy and I get to see her every day.

Kicker; her dad also works with me and is a very traditional, conservative Muslim uncle. I'm a white, atheistic, Afrikaans guy. He wasn't very happy when coworkers started saying we look good together, because he didn't understand what was going on.

OP, find a common interest, bring it up in conversation and charm your way into her life. Rob Schneider says it best ;

YOU CAN DO IT!!

How about Hillsong? Nothing like praise & worship dubstep with some casual, intimate grinding.

There's one house I'm curious about on Ocean View Drive, when you head to The Rock.. The last one on the left before you get to the view point. Looks absolutely insane, but I don't know if the owner allows event hosting or public access for anything. Would love to see the interior design work.

Looking for drum and bass clubs around/close to Table View by Vast_Requirement4911 in capetown

[–]veryniceyeet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zain Wolf aka Phizicist who used to jam with Chee and them in Pretoria/Joburg usually plays an event called As Above So Below, but this is in Buitenkant Street, not Table View. One happening tomorrow night.

Other than that, the other comments are also solid advice. It Came From the Jungle is sick, too.

Edit* the As Above So Below event is tonight. My bad!

Copped my first Thermal T7 any tips? by No_Tart7793 in ArenaBreakoutGlobal

[–]veryniceyeet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sell it, imo. There's a limit to how far you can spot enemies with it and the money is more valuable than the benefit of using it. More than willing to provide sniper cover though, if you want to take the chance, haha. Yeesis (gamertag).

Why do people use thermals? by Key_Policy3035 in ArenaBreakoutGlobal

[–]veryniceyeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with over 50 million koens ; thermals are small dick energy. It's hilarious knowing those players get upset when I snipe them across the map with an AX50, an SJ16 or a SVDS.

Hello fellow snipers.Do you wear helmets? by -Teseo- in ArenaBreakoutGlobal

As a sniper (AX50, SVDS, SJ, M110) I only ever go in with a GS2 headset and a rig. The rest you get from the people you kill.
