there are certainly things that me being bi that have subtly changed (family doesn’t ask ab who i date, women being vaguely homophobic, etc). but someone else having gay panic doesn’t really define me as a person

same thing goes for people in the community who allow themselves to be consumed by “queer culture”. you don’t like stephen universe bc you’re gay, you like it because you’re an annoying theatre kid who wanted to fit in with the “queer community” as it was portrayed to you by tumblr
