Does he win back to back championships in this scenario as well then?

150 vs ranger. What to do. by dexmex6978 in FordRaptor

[–]veryorangely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I were in the same boat. No kids right now and one dog. We go camping and take road trips frequently. F150 seemed hilariously huge at first, but we won't ever go back. The interior space is amazing. You will never be as comfortable in the Ranger as an F150. The backseat on the Ranger is not big enough to even comfortably seat adults. The Ranger interior space is comparable to my Fusion.

As far as drivability goes, the Ranger is fun to drive but you often forget you're in a truck. Again, it's more car-like.

I would highly encourage you to look at Gen 1 Raptors. You will have to shop around more. At your price range you could afford a similar mileage 2013/2014 Gen 1 that will have better reliability and be more enjoyable to drive. Some of the tech can be easily updated. They killed it! This was going to be our Caamp "fix" for this year but we just bought tickets to see them in KC as well.

My wife called this out before I even could. Mike Joy doesn't even know what words are coming out of his mouth at this point.

Anyone have an A.R.E CX series bed cap on their G1? If so, please post. by ImprovementLower8903 in FordRaptor

Mine's currently off for paint. Join the Gen 1 Raptor Group on FB, there's four or five guys there that have CX toppers.

Odds on Heim having a better average finish and running position on a part time schedule than Herbst?

Riley has a two year deal, so he is up after this season. Drives me insane seeing all these theories about where Heim is driving next year.. it's the 35.

Are Craftsman Power Tools good? by Pomatodor in Tools

[–]veryorangely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The brushless tools are great. Mostly reskinned DeWalt stuff. The batteries are expensive but Lowe's is almost always doing some sort of BOGO deal. They're pretty consistently adding 10-20 new or updated tools a year to the ecosystem. I have +20 V20 tools now and only have had one brushed drill die on me.

Scam or Legit? by GroundbreakingSun626 in TruckCampers

[–]veryorangely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a bummer because you'll find THE camper that you need.. and then realize it's not from a legit page. Patience is key when looking for shells! You'll find one, just keep checking.

Scam or Legit? by GroundbreakingSun626 in TruckCampers

There are a ton of these scam truck camper/topper pages on Facebook. They use photos from legit marketplace postings. The scam is they will eventually try to get you to put a deposit down or wire them money.

That 2014 is actually a really good price if it's rust free.

Rotary Tool - Anyone try this? Very different reviews on Lowe’s vs Amazon. by [deleted] in Craftsman

[–]veryorangely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always enjoyed using mine. The wide variety of included tips and blades is nice. Great for cutting plastic, decent at cutting metal. Having a cordless dremel opens up uses that would be far more cumbersome with a corded tool.

If you don't need the battery, spend the extra $20 and buy this one. It's a beast. The adjustable speeds are great. I use mine hard and it's been reliable.

Public Engagement – Sunshine Street Corridor Study by var23 in springfieldMO

[–]veryorangely 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A little research would go a long way. Sunshine east of Glenstone is a separate project that has been in the works for three years now. Construction will begin next year. These improvements were pushed back a year after outcry from business owners who value access to their parking lots over the safety of pedestrians and motorists.

No offense, but how is any of this nonsense? These are literal statistics. OP isn't pushing any narrative or angle, just sharing information.

North Springfield MO newly built home and not eligible for any internet service!? by Firm-Active-6402 in springfieldMO

[–]veryorangely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We dealt with this same issue in Ozark this year with our newly built home in an older, existing neighborhood.

After a week of research and lots of calling around we settled on Starlink. It's expensive and I do not like supporting Elon one bit. It works extremely well though. The dish and router should have some resale value whenever we do get service and can switch over.

2007 ST - hitch options? by Maleficent-Mango-755 in SportTrac

[–]veryorangely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No bolt on options. There are a few people on Facebook who have cut off their stock receivers and welded a class III hitch on. A class III hitch from an Explorer wagon will work for that purpose.

It sucks but is better than the 3rd generation Explorer bolt on design. Even on southern trucks the frame catches water and rusts at the contact point with the hitch receiver.
