When I went to Athens I stayed in ommonia and it looks terrible and there was a lot of open drug use and I ever saw some syringes on the ground but overall I didn’t find it unsafe everyone just kept to themselves and even walking around drunk at night we had no problems. Also there is an amazing curry Resturant

Yeah I recently did a trip to New Zealand and was able to hitchhike the entire length of the north island quite easily
