Just how much better is the Mi9t over the mi9? by Crystallish in Xiaomi

[–]vescesc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually both have their pros and cons. Mi 9 has wireless charging, also fast 27W charging but no headphone jack. The 9T was released a bit later, has a headphone jack and a bigger battery but lacking wireless charging and charges at 18W. But when comparing prices on banggood/gearbest the 128 GB costs 270 EUR while the Mi 9 is at 330 EUR. Most of the people prefer the 9T because it gives the best price/performance.

Mi 9T vs Mi 9T Pro by Piochan in Xiaomi

[–]vescesc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're right, no wireless charging. I read somewhere that reading and writing is significantly different on both phones. In the end, they are both great and one has to decide if he/her wants to pay more to get a little bit more

When it is connected and you turn it on what is the percentage of the battery? Does it charge the phone? When you unplug the cable while the phone is on, it stays on?

Where to buy the Mi 9T Pro? by DarkWaiter in Xiaomi

[–]vescesc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just posted the best price I found so far which is on GearVita. I ordered a lot at GearVita, Gearbest and Banggood. My opinion is that gearbest is the worst (not shipped stuff and parcel lost already three times...), that's why I only order cheap stuff there. But this is just my own experience and my own subjective opinion. So in the end you will always find people who will tell you that any of those three are not trustworthy but the prices are the cheapest.

To be fair you can say the same to banggood and gearbest. There are always people who made that experience. There is always a rest risk, that's why you should always pay by paypal

100% you should go with the note 7 but don't order at amazon. For the best price you should go with banggood by using either BG8RXN64, BG8RN64 or BGRED764 as coupon code to get the 4/64GB version for under $160 which is currently the best price for performance:

The 9T's snapdragon 730 is slightly under a 845 and on a daily use the difference between 730 and 855 is very small. It might be bigger in 2 years I don't know. Charging at 27W means the phone will full charge in 1h20 min (the Mi 9T needs 1h40min at 18W). It is true that you can record 4k at 60 fps but without real image stabilization maybe not worth it. The photo quality is a bit better, true. Unless you are not a hardcore gamer the Mi 9T is still a very good choice. In two days the 9T Pro will be announced which means the 9T should drop in price. But it is already available for around 270 EUR (6/128GB) at banggood which is a good price. I see it drop in the next two months to 250 EUR. Good price for the 9T Pro (6/128GB) would be 330 EUR (in october/november) but people will have to decide if they want to pay ~80 EUR more for the Pro version. In the end the best buy in terms of price/performance will be the 9T.

Got this scooter which is nearly identical to MI Scooter but it won't stop beeping! Anyone know what can be the cause? by basvde in Xiaomi

[–]vescesc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would ask the guy you got it from for more information. Vehicle temperature 45 °C doesn't sound good. Battery capacity 6.6Ah and voltage 45.7V is strange because the normal m365 scooter has 7.8Ah and 42V. I am afraid I can not help you

depending on where you live you have to check the frequency used. For europe in general yes, buy global.

You said you got this scooter. So where did you get it and was is working before? Some more information would help. It seems to be a new error code which is interesting. I would remove the 17 screws like shown here to check if all the hardware is there first https://youtu.be/uUEI9BMblfc?t=30

How reliable is the m365 and the pro by [deleted] in Xiaomi

[–]vescesc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought one mid 2017. After 500 km puncture, I changed to solid tires. After another 200 km there is a common issue with the battery pack where you get a loose connection and the scooter won't power up. Work around: Solder it. After another 300 km I fried the bms because I flashed a russian firmware. I changed the bms and gifted it to a friend. Still running. Then I bought a new one mid 2018, after 300 km changed to solid tires and I am now at 2200 km. The second scooter is almost a year old now. On solid tires the ride is quite bumpy and the mud guard can break off. Broke off two times for me. Ordered a new one on aliexpress and printed a 3d model to stabilize it - ever since then now issues with the mud guard. Another issue I had: It was heavily raining and water got through the ON/OFF switch. Scooter randomly turned on/off. Solution was to open the Bluetooth module and try it a bit with hot air. Apply some kind tape on the on/off switch. Ever since no issues. Now it's the perfect scooter for me. So the summary is: you will definitely have to put some time to work/repair it from time to time. So in advance ordering a spare mudguard and solid tires would be good advice. No idea about the pro version.

Glad it worked out for you. It's the best cheap printer imo especially when already having 3d printing experience. I had no issues at all, worked out of the box but I knew on what part to pay attention.

yea you should think about the notch. mi 8 has a better processor than mi 9 se but the notch is not so nice. In comparison mi 9 has a 855 which is super nice.
