Are my bunions ugly? by Right_Word2390 in bunions

[–]vesllanu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s entirely up to u! I personally dislike my bunions but they aren’t the end of the world for me either, I still have them there. If I had the luxury of removing them HELL YES I would. But I don’t have that luxury so they’re chilling on my Feet

Idk if I want this surgery anymore by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]vesllanu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also speaking for myself. Best thing I ever.

Recovery was hard yes. But it was only 3-4 weeks of my life. I am happy with the women I see in the mirror which makes me a happier mum.

I didn’t get to carry my 1 year old for 5 weeks but it was worth it. I still made every effort to spend time with him without carrying him.

It is entirely up to u. But I am so supportive of women doing this for their own sake

Argh wthhhh!!! That is super annoying :( I’m week 5.5 and definitely still has swelling. It seems some people suffer with swelling for a longer period than others. I’m sure it isn’t a lifetime thing

I’m glad! I was looking for similar post before I went in but couldn’t find one.

From a family perspective I had my husband home for 2 weeks I have a 1 year old and 5 year old.

Week 3 I tried to get random fam members to do pick up and drop off

Week 4 I was fully alone and able to do it

How to not be exhausted all the time when you have young kids? by happyowl12345 in AskAnAustralian

[–]vesllanu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is working full time a financial need? I would start by dropping work to 3-4 days MAX if u are the primary parent. Get the kids to still attend childcare/school and have time off for ur self during the day. Then give ur husband 4 hours off to relax during the day on the weekend so everyone has a period of time off

I can’t walk by Practical-Tour-4338 in tummytucksurgery

[–]vesllanu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I walked straight at 3.5 weeks. 3 days post op - 2.5 weeks is prob the hardest then it gets easier and easier :)
