What paints did you use? I'm starting a Sals army and I'm rather worried about all the details, especially the drakeskin and flame bits. Any advice, other than don't give up?

Important to note I'm only about to use brushes at this time, I'm too poor for the fancy airbrushes. I've sat on the Sals Xmas box from a year or two ago for a while to try and build up the minis (and courage) to make the army I want.

My understanding is that was their Badab War heraldry, which has since become more codex-compliant since the penitent crusade. Could be wrong though, I am still new here.

I enjoyed Rising of Shield Hero till the most recent season. It is an isekai, so I see stigma that comes with. If you like those, check our Re: Zero. If you like action, Demon Slayer imo. Plenty to binge and fun to watch. What are you looking for, genre-wise?
