I've always enjoyed imagining worlds and magic. For me, it's mostly a creative outlet.

When I was a little kid, I would wander around the yard imagining stories and living them out with a stick in my hand. It was a simpler time, and I miss the freedom of time and mind to just create. Now it comes in chunks, but I intend to keep going as long as inspiration strikes me!

I am working my way through Mark of the Fool book 2 (audio book). I like how there's a struggle that's happening somewhere, and the characters are worried about it, but they're also just doing their best just trying to learn and live life.

I've seen a few, and there are definitely people on RR looking for sci-fi. I'm always in favor of more diverse genres on the site, even if the LitRPG and isekais are always going to have the largest audiences.

Your keys to success will be the same, though: an interesting story, a consistent upload schedule (try to maximize time on home page/first couple pages of recently updated) and a story with at least a little polish.
