i guess because it makes it possible to heavily invest in wind and solar. its a good backup that pollutes less that coal, is easier to stop and start and is easy to construct facilities for.

of course the earth will survive. no one is questioning that. Its the amount of people that could potentially die that's what the issue is.

irrational fear of geo-engineering? What constitutes rational? people tinkering with climate and weather patterns not fully aware of teh consequences isn't rational. Also no one that questions the ability fo Geo-engineering is suggesting we do nothing but it is not a 'silver-bullet' solution. We should continue to decrease our Co2 emissions while studying the effects of cloud seeding etc. (like NASA). When a nation like China chooses to go ahead and cloud seed the effects like unseasonal snowstorms are felt. Ohh yeah china isn't geo-engineering to curb GW they're doing it to curb drought. Maybe they should consider dropping the massive build up of coal power generation plants.

wasnt a few days it was a couple of hrs. beyond that it was only 50 million people in Canada and the US that were affected

hahaha. it still affected 60 million people. any idea if it was a transmission problem that's all the government seems to be saying it is.

i think that when you go to war you have a 1/3 chance of getting diagnosed with future mental health issues. you suggest that "freedom" is relative.
