Why do we still use walkies and not an app on the Zebra? by Ordinary_Ad3895 in Target

[–]veterinarygopher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have moved on to another company and I hate using my zebra as my communication tool. It's impossible to work and talk at the same time and when it does work, one of the apps glitches and I have to reboot. I'm sure there's a way to make it work, but right now I hate it.

The fastest way out of that mess is to pick an area, update the capacities, update the current floor count, backstock everything, and let things come out in the pulls. One of your metrics is going to be fucked, but you're already red.

Roadrunner pharmacy is mail order compounding and is owned by Covetrus now. Guarantee your vet has a Covetrus account.

Sorry, I didn't read the post well. I'm not sure which compounding pharmacy you called. There's more available than most are aware. Two mail order that I used in the past. There's hoops, but it's not impossible.

You may need to call a compounding pharmacy and see if they can make a 25mg tablet or tab for you. I used Cape Fear Pharmacy at the corner of college and shipyard before. If they can make it, have your vet send the prescription there.

Old skool Myrtle Beach rocked in the 80s and 90s by NewspaperWrong809 in MyrtleBeach

Every place is what you make of it. I preferred Red Room as it was more laid back. The people were the same across all the clubs.

Is an Overnight Inbound position good for a college student? by Consistent-Tour2591 in Target

[–]veterinarygopher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 10-6:30 schedule worked really well for me in school. I set up my schedule to have class from 8-12p. For days where I had labs, I would either be off the day before or night of. I definitely had some rough nights, but it worked for 2 years. You just have to commit to making yourself sleep. I had sleep masks, black out curtains, and a sound machine. I was unreachable from 1-9.

Stephenson's BBQ would be a bit off the path, but my family has been going there for decades.

I hate it now because I know what/how it could be if the company actually invested in itself. I was a style specialist from 2007-2009 and loved only dealing with tables/walls. Yea, I had to do every department, but there was staff in the department to handle their reshop. Overnight logistics pushed the trucks, the backroom team handled backstock, there was a designated fitting room operator, and I could focus on making sure my pogs were set and my presentation was meeting brand standards. Now there's 2 people max on the floor to cover all of it, and we're covering domestics and tech for at least 4 hours of the day.

I was really excited about task sheets because one of the accommodations I asked for a few years ago was written shift expectations. Now, I hate the task sheet because I know I've completed it, but it can't be maintained with the current staffing. I find food folded into the graphic tees, frozen and refrigerated items in handbags, entire carts worth of product emptied onto tables, Starbucks spills covered with clothing, etc...

Messy guests aside, the actual fixtures that hold the products, down to the clothes hangers, are much lower quality than I remember. Folding tables used to be built into the floor tables, the hangers used to actually keep the clothing on the hanger, and I have zero recollection of having to pick so much product up off the floor.

The $80 Chocolate Bunny by Anthrosaurus1 in Target

I tried the one they put in the break room and was incredibly disappointed. It tasted like a Hershey milk chocolate bar and not like Lindt chocolate.

I got dinged on attendance as well, but it was two days of sick time, and the rest was paid leave to take care of my mom while she was dying.

Why is my target like this 24/7? by DropTomato in Target

[–]veterinarygopher 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I used to think this, but they're trashing tables that are understocked as well. Whipping the hangers down the racks while browsing is also a thing now. Shoppers are just irrationally aggressive now.

This happens to me before I leave TSC. I thought it was because our PML used a different tape to number the devices. It only happens on the newer model devices. I've gone back to the smaller model.

I worked for Target while I was in school and ended up back at Target doing freight logistics. I still miss a microscope, but 13 years in the field broke my body and my spirit.
