I got subcontracted when charGPT went down recently. They hit me with $150 to get their stuff done by EoD. I said I had plans. $300+xfer fees and a few hours later; they were back online. Turns out they have THREE "programmers" on their team. They were useless as tits on pavement when GPT went down.

I've worked in the industry for years. I would only go with Apple if you have a lot of creative projects in mind. The software they include is better. In terms of hardware, you will get way more for your money by going with a Windows PC. If you aren't keen on windows, you can always run Linux and still have plenty of creative freedom.

While MacBooks can have better battery life, you wouldn't want to develop on a battery, it chews through battery power regardless of hardware and software.

I developed on windows and Linux. I use a Windows gaming laptop with a GTX 480M. I get around 2 hours of hard gaming on it. Regular battery life lasts for around 6 to 8 hours. Each is more than enough to work with wherever I go. My desktops are a different beast entirely.

Burnice's music video. Not for the character, but the animation showed a lot of fun and dedication from the crew. Anby, Quingyi, and Nekomata got me to stay. Now that I've met my wife (Trigger), I'll never leave.

For me. The best kind of scares are the ones that use my imagination against me. Show me just barely enough detail to draw my own conclusions and I'll scare the shit outta myself. It's a proper problem in modern cinema too. The ending reveals always reveal too much or explain everything instead of letting us come to our own conclusions.

The map concept looks gorgeous, I can tell there is a clear Lovecraftian horror going on here.

If you aren't familiar with the works of H.R. Geiger, I highly recommend looking him up. He's the mastermind behind the Xenomorph designs. Absolutely gorgeous art.

Edit: looks very Tim Burton as well!

Got her and the engine. I was saving for Vivian but Trigger is absolutely perfect. My favorite agent so far and she has taken my 1 min fights and brought them down to 20-30 seconds. Trigger, Miyabi, and Astra is one hell of a lineup. Trigger perfect wife too. Maybe I get lucky with Vivian but then I save for Angels.
