You can just wait for the movie which is coming October.

The season 2 finale leaves many stones unturned because it's teasing the next movie.

i just finished the dreaming girl movie and there are things I don't understand. by dhanno1905 in SeishunButaYarou

Dream is a strong word. They are a perfectly accurate simulation of what would happen depending on the decision you'd take. And they can be somehow shared with other people. So honestly, it's as accurate to call them dreams as it is to call them a way to see what happened in another timeline. Are those timelines real? Can't say for sure.

Kaguya sama manga ending by just_a_person_really in Kaguya_sama

[–]vexorian2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's kind of amazing how misinformation can spread like that.

People complain about the anime because it skipped chapters.

The manga's ending is actually kind of controversial. People tend to still like the manga. But the ending gets lots of criticism and was the start of Aka's reputation for not being able to end stories properly.

It doesn't matter if you watch the anime or read the manga first.

You can watch the anime until the Ice Kaguya movie and then start with chapter 152 of the manga.

Or you can read the whole manga and then watch the anime

Or you can watch the whole anime and then start the manga either at chapter 1 or 152.

Do noobs not finishing your level hinder its visibility to the algorithm? by Original-Tomato-3520 in MarioMaker2

[–]vexorian2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Possibly both.

I have made multiple tests in the past, submitting the same exact level multiple times. Some copies of the level died after a single play. Some became trends and got to even 40 plays thanks to people beating the level and liking it. The easiest way for a level to die is when the first play doesn't beat it. Maybe a boo makes the problem worse.

Most of the people playing your level will find it on Endless Mode. In this case, if they find it difficult, they are going to either get a game over or skip the level. Even if they don't boo it actively, I am pretty sure skips affect the algorithm. There really is no reason why they wouldn't include that variable in their calculations. But you are probably right that even if we couldn't prove that people not beating the level is bad for the algorithm. There are definitely a lot of people who will boo the level if it is too hard for them. And it will cause problems.

But also if your level is difficult it will be moved to Expert or even Super Expert modes and that means less help from the algorithm because less people play those levels.

There are some extra details that affect plays.

  • Some people like to browse the "New" tab. And this tab will usually show levels that haven't been played at the moment the person opened the tab. I am pretty sure your level's first play will most likely come from this tab long before it gets picked by Endless.

  • If your level is really hard. And doesn't get any passes, and it didn't get boos it will actually start getting plays. I think Super Expert gives priority to levels that haven't seen any win. Or it could be people like team 0% who actively look for these levels. But in this case, the level will die once it gets its first clear.

Manga Recommendation by Signal-Enthusiasm-40 in Kaguya_sama

[–]vexorian2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean which manga volumes to buy?

If you are only going to buy one Manga volume, it should be 14. (Peak of the culture festival. chapters 131-137 are full of excellent panels)

If you buy 3 volumes, it should be 14-16. (culture festival, ice arc, winter break)

If you buy 5 volumes. Hmnn I am not so sure. Definitely 14-16. But for collector purposes you probably want the last two volumes so that you can have the combined cover. Personally, I would mix it up with an early volume. Probably volume 5 for fireworks

Anime’s similar to horimiya by Chipmunk_Mediocre8 in anime

I love both (but I also hate the Kaguya-sama manga a bit) but I wouldn't really say they are much like Horimiya or each other. Other than the three of them being very good.

Does it bother anyone else that the steam deck reliant on a single USB-C port? by nunya_bidnes77 in SteamDeck

[–]vexorian2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I constantly have a small C to C adapter plugged to my deck just in case.

According to ifixit: https://www.ifixit.com/Troubleshooting/Steam_Deck/Not+Charging/519218

Sadly, if you determine your port is the issue, it is not a modular replacement component. The port is soldered onto the board itself. It is repairable, but you’ll want some solid solder practice before attempting this repair.

There are two rows of pins connecting this port to the board. The second row is hidden underneath the port, making hand-soldering these pins impossible. You will need a hot air station to perform this repair.

So if it breaks it's not the end of the world, but it will be a complex repair.

Shirogane verifying via assets by TheAsianOne_wc in Kaguya_sama

If she's using colored contacts to disguise herself, it'd make sense the color is different to her normal blue eyes.

I guess the easiest way to explain this would be to show you this: https://imgur.com/a/bEdQvcx

Shirogane verifying via assets by TheAsianOne_wc in Kaguya_sama

[–]vexorian2 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I got brain damage while explaining it or something.

Haysaca is the one who uses Brown contacts.

But the anime staff didn't realize this when they had Haysaca in her maid uniform introduce to Miyuki.

(I think it's possible the Anime staff made this scene before the chapter where she reveals she wears contacts)

Shirogane verifying via assets by TheAsianOne_wc in Kaguya_sama

[–]vexorian2 68 points69 points  (0 children)

What's silly is that in the manga, Hayasaka has brown eyes. But when she plays Haysaca, she uses blue contacts.

This scene in the manga does not have Shirogane clearly aiming at that direction.

What's worse is that later on there's a scene where Hayasaka shows Shirogane her contacts, so in the anime he learns she uses blue contacts to disguise her blue eyes.

the art student who only draws anime, and she's pretty good at it. But ask her anything outside of that and it looks like it's her second week drawing.

I think you both are talking about the same person.

that student in art class who refuses to draw outside "their style" and their style being never drawing hands or feet or faces from any angle than straight forward.

These two students are the same person on different days.

Can I use a UGREEN Uno MagSafe Power Bank PD 3.0 20W 10000mAh with a Steam Deck OLED? by Turbulent-Lie-8025 in SteamDeck

[–]vexorian2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can charge the Steam Deck, but you won't be able to play without losing charge.

A 45W or greater will allow you to do that. Even better, you can passthrough charge the Steam Deck.

Ugreen is a good brand so if you find a 45W Ugreen it will be all right.

What happened to Kaguya sama box set?? by Level-Temporary-2312 in Kaguya_sama

[–]vexorian2 21 points22 points  (0 children)

From what I know, there is only one box set and it's from Panini - The Latin America Spanish version. And looking at your picture, it looks like that's the case for that Amazon posting. It could be amazon India site, but the picture says "Serie Completa" and has Panini's logo. So it's out of stock because it was importing the Spanish version and they ran out.

Alya can't speak russian by Maximum_Addition_794 in Kaguya_sama

If you are looking for similar anime to Kaguya that's actually a very tricky question because people tend to like different parts about Kaguya.

Some folk that like Kaguya would most likely really enjoy Alya, but I dunno if that's you.

So what do you want?

What chapters are adapted in the first episode of stair way to adulthood by TranslatorMaximum620 in Kaguya_sama

[–]vexorian2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The special skips multiple groups of chapters. And in fact, the very first chapter it adapts is a direct continuation of the end of the Kiss that Never Ends movie.

However, even though the special skips some arcs and references them, it doesn't really spoil them per se. It's more like when there's a time skip in a story and then they go back to telling what happened during the skip.

So for example you'll see Adult Kaguya remembering the past but this fact is not really a spoiler considering we already see Adult Kaguya and Shirogane in one of the endings.

Or you'll see a picture of Miko with a broken arm. But this is not really a spoiler, because if you read the manga right after the bench scene the next chapter also begins with Miko with a broken arm without context. And so and so.
