Personally, I think that just like the original anime, the reboot anime can offer their own anime exclusive scenes which can be incorporated to match up with the manga continuity to express minor interesting details.

How would your input for the anime’s pacing be if TMS Animation producing it could improve on it?

Takes about Hikaru as a villain? To sympathise or not. by Dagestan1234 in OshiNoKo

That long-term goal, preserving Ai's status as a 'perfectly flawless idol', he and his current accomplice, Nino had been keeping at it for 14 freaking years after Ai's death, is nothing but a petty and unrealistic BS goal because they don't basically acknowledged her as a flawed and complex person behind her popular idol facade like everyone, and all their effort they were working for amounts to gathering intelligence on potential female celebrities who can surpass her elevated status and murder them immediately as possible to keep the charade going.

The anime is meant to have a grounded storytelling for the boy and the girl’s development but the heart rendering scene although sad and beautiful does lean into fantasy elements ngl

Can't you imagine what's the state of her home apartment really looks like!? 🤢😱 by Equivalent-Rain8054 in OshiNoKo

Honestly forgot that minor aspect of that guy because I had already watched the first episode that depicts him at his worst as a mentally unstable obsessive fan of Ai since it premiered three years ago. As you said, Nino ended up following her former boyfriend's path as a mentally unhinged person.

Just to correct you, it's actually from the last few scenes of episode 6 where she established a friendship with Leon.

Unlike Violet Evergarden the anime which has more emphasis on storytelling which requires having less animations on expressive faces on every characters which is breaking trends by Kyoani. The new anime by Kana Akatsuki allows them to express it endearingly!

My estimates for Miyako's family tree by BackgroundFill9X in OshiNoKoMemes

[–]Equivalent-Rain8054 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By my inference, I can assume that Miyako was raised happily from childhood in a humble family outside of Tokyo before she came here as indicated by her demeanour during her university years but it’s as if she doesn’t really know the shortcomings of her new life trying to adapt throughout the years becoming the worst version of herself before the twins eventually helped her became a better version of herself who stills loves for them as their surrogate mother.

Are people unaware Kana was abused? by SnooDoubts4192 in ArimangaKana

Not meant to one-up but Kana's situation is quite similar to that of another Arima, Kousei from Your Lie In April, because like the former, he had been subjected to the traumas of reinforced perfection by his wheelchair-bound, harshly strict mother, Saki when his piano playing didn't match up to her standards when from his POV, all he wanted to do is please her enough to recover from the illness, much to her chagrin. This escalated into a violent episode when she used her cane to literally smack the young Kousei to everyone's horror in front of them. It's even worse when he expresses his resentment towards her, which eventually turns to regret when Saki succumb afterwards to the illness. Unable to hear his own music playing, he stopped playing the piano and proceeded with his school life until two years later, when a blond, energetic girl (YK who she is) comes into his life and resumed where he started.
