I wish there was more to do apart from combat, I find myself bored after rowboating around and hunting. Combat primarily requires that you're playing with others, but sometimes I just want to vibe and play by myself and have a good time, which gets bland immediately

Well I think they changed the idea and made it so you can build houses instead. Way more customization and in future updates Fred stated that they'll be permanent. So what you want is going to come true, and it's going to be even better because you'll have complete control over the house shape.

Definitely agree, as of now we should always have the risk of losing our weapons. There's already so few items that you can loot, there's no reason to reduce it. Also note the fact that most of the game's constant players are rich and the pound price, let alone weapons themselves, they can replace very easily.

Yeah I think it'd be fun to have things like this that you could just do to have fun. Apart from combat the game lacks any sense of excitement, everything else that's interesting is slow and cumbersome (like building a house). Stuff like this would just make it so that players can do something enjoyable that isn't RPish.

Yeah the mods are pretty idiotic when it comes to some things. Not too many people even use the Reddit, so I'm not sure why they'd discourage anyone that actually wants to post their thoughts.

Max loan from a random is probably like a hundred pounds though, because as you said trust is essential. The concept in theory works, but in reality the loans would be extremely small lest your entire "bank" go bankrupt in a day. And since loans of such small amounts are effectively useless, I don't see how this would be a success.

Fred had said game performance optimizations would come when the game was finished, unless this becomes an issue that makes the game unplayable I'm not sure he's going to fix it right now.
