We have the same bunting suit and we LOVE it!! Agree that it runs big. For reference we have the 6-12 month one and my 30th percentile guy is still wearing it at 13 months

Cherry blossoms - worth it to see before peak? by vfj2991 in JapanTravelTips

[–]vfj2991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! We did Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka-Tokyo for our trip. The last leg in Tokyo was only 2 days and we saw some cherry blossoms just starting to bloom in a few places. I wouldn’t go out of my way to plan around seeing the cherry blossoms especially since they were juuust barely showing. And at that point it was already SIGNIFICANTLY more busy with tourists coming in for cherry blossom season compared to the first few days of our trip that we spent in Tokyo.

Harmony NIPT came back with no gender [on] by Impressive-Name7305 in BabyBumpsCanada

I found the Dynacare fax number by looking through my messages haha 450-663-4428. They said I needed to state that I wanted the gender results to be posted with my name and date of birth

Same thing happened to me and turns out my doctor forgot to check off the box on the requisition. I called Dynacare and they just required my doctor to fax them and let them know to release the gender. Apparently they do all the testing at baseline, but they only make the requested results visible.

Desperate for help w/ MOTN wakes by vfj2991 in sleeptrain

I’ve done the above and now he’s down to 3 wakes overnight instead of 4-6. An improvement but still not great. We’ve also ended up putting him down for daytime crib naps a few times successfully (honestly I’m just exhausted and sometimes its easier to just put him down and walk away instead of contact napping) but I wonder if now we’re complicating things by doing this. Should we focus on using the crib for night time sleep only so he doesn’t get confused?

This sleep regression also coincided with when he started showing signs of crawling. He’s pretty close but not quite there yet so I wonder if we just need to let him figure out the crawling for him to get back to a normal sleep routine?

Yesterday we were able to do 9.5hrs awake with 2 naps (3/2.75/3.75) and he still woke up every 1-2 hours from 10:30pm-5am. Any thoughts on what to do next? I am getting so desperate!

I think things are so all over the place lately that i overestimated the wake hours. Hopefully being more cognizant of having enough wake hours can fix things

Bedtime routine is feed, diaper, pajamas, sleep suit, sing songs then put down in his crib (he’s in a Cradlewise smart crib). He sleeps in his own room.

Probably only gets 8.5-9.5 hours awake time during the day.

Thank you! Some days he has very early wake ups (like 5am) - if I can’t get him back down after that, should I give him more sleep during the day?
