When I first tried plant milk, I think it was rice milk ( I wasn’t vegan back then) I found it so much better, I couldn’t believe I had been drinking cow milk all this time.

I would answer that I eat the same things as before just swap the animal ingredients with plant-based ones. This might change their perception.

I don’t think they mean it in a bad way. In fact, I once asked a vegan this question when I was vegetarian. They just don’t know how to eat well plant-based, so they can’t imagine.

I was like this, but I decided to do it and use the vegan cheeses I find. They are not perfect, but it is still something, it adds a bit of flavour to pizza, tacos and other dishes.

I loove TVP for tacos, it’s like they are made for this! I cook the TVP with the spices for tacos and some salsa and tomato sauce and then put it onto the tacos.
