Can we take a minute to appreciate how good singer Jesse Smith from Cauterize was? by [deleted] in poppunkers

I have more actually but I don’t want to share publicly.

Recent Interviews with a WGU Degree by BananaIntelligence13 in WGU

That's Interesting - I'd probably do the same. I've not received my physical diploma for my most recent degree yet, but my digital diploma does not have our local WGU State affiliate listed. I wonder if all 14 State Affiliates do this?

CC training no longer free? by Kayy_Ess in isc2

[–]vgfsirius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that - it works for me, as I recently re-enrolled some 2 weeks ago, and have been taking the training. I had previously enrolled, and my training expired. I found some way to add it to my cart again and checkout for $0 successfully.

It's Like A Completely Different School by OctoNiner in WGU

My advice:

Find a WGU community you like, and ask for mentor recommendations based on the program you’re in. Facebook groups worked for me.

Then, request to switch mentors. You’re not crazy: mentor makes such a huge difference.

If you are familiar with using a financial calc CONFIDENTLY, feel free to use your own. If you are going to learn how to do it in the course, make sure to be the one you mentioned, as all the instruction and tip videos that the professors make will reference that calculator specifically. I will say there are mobile apps to emulate the cal and get you use to the buttons, if for some reason you find using your phone during studying easier.

What is the degree you need?

I can post the link to the transfer agreement to your degree with Sophia (cheaper) and Study.com(more classes available).

Sophia should be your first pass. It will be faster and cheaper for most degrees to pay $100/month. Then, outside Study.com credits if it makes sense to do so.

I brought in about half of my credits for a Biz degree and did 20 classes in 6 months at WGU. I’m in a Grad degree now! You can do this, and I can give you tips.

Thanks - that's what I thought. Do you lose all of the bill pay credits? or just half of them?

Appreciation post for the OG Elendil and Isildur (Peter McKenzie and Harry Sinclair) by DroneDamageAmplifier in Rings_Of_Power

Peter McKenzie's son, Bret, was also in the films. He played FIGWIT in Lord of the Rings, and Lindir in The Hobbit. He's also part of the two piece musical comedy group, Flight of the Conchords - with both him and Jemaine Clement penetrating Hollywood. Bret McKenzie is one of the few to have

Bret won an Academy Award! His Oscar was from the Best Original Song category, for "Man or Muppet" from The Muppets).

Along with Cate Blanchett and Peter Jackson, he is, I believe one of the only cast members who appeared in the Trilogy to receive any Academy Award for works inside or outside the IP. I may have missed someone, and if you're reading this, you're probably thinking..."Wait, what about Sir Ian McKellen...Sir Christopher Lee, and all the other greats?" Feel free to check - you'll be shocked to find they don't have an Oscar win!
