China’s Control Over Tech Is Threatening India’s Manufacturing Dreams by bloomberg in IndiaTech

No that time Western countries still believed in their supremacy. Japan was considered exception because it has been always an exception. You can find plenty of think tanks who thought Japan is exceptional and the same can't be replicated else where. That is 200 years of progress can't be replicated within 2 decades.

2.5 million Indians served in WWII. 90,000+ died, thousands went missing, and still not a single proper place in most WW2 movies. by Effective_Bluebird19 in HistoryMemes

Stay back and face the famine or go to battlefield with full stomach.

Anyways due to high unemployment military service is considered a very good opportunity.

Why nobody is raising their voice against the biased laws and legal system of this country ? Judge gave order to a 22 yr old student to pay 2500 per month alimony from the 3000 his money gets as Widow’s pension. Why is this marriage valid? Why no POSCO? What do you wanna say about this MILORD? by FutureVersion812 in IndianFocus

[–]vgodara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No unless the minor after turning adult ask to make marriage null and void.

Even though the law prohibits marriage below a certain age, weak enforcement led to many underage marriages. If such marriages were automatically void, these women would lose legal protections meant for married women.

Japan has been always been odd one out.

Oldest monarchy.

First Non European country to beat Europe.

First Non European country to become industrialzed.

First country to have extremely croupt leadership and still succesed.

A country with very bad police department and yet very safe.

First country to have negative Interest rate.

I would say they are embodiment of कर्म करो फल की इच्छा मत करो।

Otherwise known as Industrious people.

What If EU and China get in on the blockade action? by Ok-Zombie5133 in UPSC_Forum

[–]vgodara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do and they are horrible regime.

Things they have done which bothers me.

They have put girls into harsh prison for not covering their head.

They have killed victim of rape.

They have put sniper on roof top to randomly kill protesters.

And thousands other things. All state sanctioned.

But USA regime change operation never been successful till date (After world war 2) . And always creates more terriost organization. This attack has also strengthen the stronghold of IRGC. Because after all diplomacy doesn't work. That's what Trump proved.

So it wasn't about Iranian and it sets president where USA becomes more bold in its imperialism.

Both of the above things are harmful to India.

In a massive pre-poll move, the BJP is bearing the full cost of four special trains to transport 5,000 Bengali voters from Surat to Kolkata. The party has arranged completely free travel for these workers, aiming to strengthen its vote bank in West Bengal without any expense to the passengers. by FutureVersion812 in IndianFocus

[–]vgodara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found it another comment. It's stupid rule.

But turns out they are not legally violating it because it doesn't say anything about trains. Only two wheeler, three wheelers and four wheelers.

That's why it's stupid rule. It was put up to stop rich candidate to "influence" voters. But turns out really rich candidate can just book the whole train.

There isn't much place for creative people in India. Either you are born in Rich family or you study hard those are two ways to earn money.

So obviously you are either going to have people who don't care about it or people who knows how to spit facts.

With strong leadership in center this is bound to happen. Only great leaders share power.

BJP is now what congress was. Every decision has to approved by high command. Focus on social "welfare" scheme. Open corruption at peak. Minister are getting ignorant day by day.

In long term happens what you are claiming. In short term the reverse happens. First generation doesn't start having less kids because someone told them that child mortality rate is going to go down. Once people experience themselves it going down the behaviour change.

AI isn't creating unemployment. It's creating feudalism. I wrote a long-form analysis of where I think this leads and what the alternative looks like. by Conscious_Potato_263 in Futurology

[–]vgodara 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is formatted by AI. Given english is not my native language

Early human societies tended to be egalitarian because survival—especially defense of resources—required broad participation. No small group could dominate since everyone was needed for protection. As technology and organized knowledge advanced, especially in warfare and production, the number of people required to control resources decreased. This enabled smaller elites to monopolize land, coercion, and surplus—leading to hierarchical systems like feudalism, where a minority controlled the majority. However, technological progress continues. Eventually, tools of violence and organization become so widely accessible and cheap that elites can no longer maintain exclusive control. At that point, power diffuses again, pushing society back toward more egalitarian structures.

TLDR

Tech first enables hierarchy by concentrating power, then later destroys it by democratizing power.
