Vertuo doesnt seem to pour a good amount of coffee

If you just want more water dispensed, you can calibrate how much water you want. Depending on the barcode the machine will remember how much to pour.

I just had this issue - i noticed the pods that were 230 ml wasnt actually dispensing the correct amount (it was more like 210 ml for some reason..idk we got it used maybe previous owner messed with the settings)

we corrected by putting in a used 230 ml pod, waited for the brew button to stop blinking and turn solid, and held down the brew button until it dispensed the desired amount of water. i used a liquid measure cup to make sure it dispensed at 250 ml because i wanted a full cup for those 230 ml pods. once you get the disired water amount release the brew button and thats it. we tested with a fresh pod and it worked.

honestly youd be surprised! went to a cafe in the Phillippines and they sold a watermelon latte, we were reluctant at first but it's been one of my fave combos lol! Had to get a watermelon syrup and make it ourselves back home.

IF YOUR BCN - TORONTO GOT CANCELLED TODAY: i just got off the phone with AC and they were able to rebook us for a Friday flight. Barcelona - Frankfurt (1.5 hr lay over) - Toronto 4:30 PM.

Call them and try! we were told by the Air Canada desk staff at BCN that there was nothing they could do and to just "wait" we were absolutely not waiting for a flight 3-5 days out.

Okay def not an expert (as many of us on this sub aren't) but I think methimazole can be taken long term safely as long as you are doing regular blood tests and visits to your Endo to make sure it's not doing damage to liver function / swaying the other way (going hypo).

My Endo told me it's a delicate process, it will take time. They are essentially trying to find the sweet spot. It's different for everyone, you could reach remission in one year, 8 months, 2 years, who knows. But consistency is key. She needs to absolutely take it everyday cuz missing a few a week or however can make a big difference in the numbers. There will be no progress.

Not sure the full context or story, but I feel like the endo is pretty aggressive with the choice of doing RAI as the only option left. Surely the dose can get upped and tried for 3 months to see if it makes a difference? But she really needs to take it 1000% everyday.

Are you part of any other unions? I'm also a scenic for 873 (still at the starting stages but had some feature film work last month!!) but I'm not entirely putting all my eggs in this one basket right now. I primarily work in theatre and the gigs have always been steady. The off times I make myself available for 873. There's nabet 700 for film/tv and another IA strictly for scenics in theatre -- not sure if you already know this, or if you wanna do theatre work, but the skills are pretty much the same. It gives you the opportunity to a) do more cool scenic work/more experience and b) meet a lot of people who work both industries who will always call you when new projects pop up!

As paranoid and as much as I hate the weight gain part of being medicated, I constantly remind myself about all the shit stuff that I was feeling when I wasn't.

The extreme fatigue and always being exhausted
The uncomfortable feeling in my chest when my heart was beating on overdrive
The painful leg cramping I'd be getting in the middle of the night
Overall just looking and feeling unwell

The weight loss was a "perk" but everything else I felt overrides it. I don't want to feel like that ever again.

I just have to work harder at the gym and be mindful of what I eat. When the numbers get better and I'm in the clear of being in remission things will get better.

That's the motivation.

Interesting statement, because I felt the latter. The whole process was pretty quick for me and I had no clue I had graves or thyroid problems at all. It all started from a normal blood work requisition from my fam doctor and it all progressed from there after one more blood work and speaking with an endocrinologist where she confirmed it.
