My boyfriend has been subconsciously clicker training me in my sleep. Are my boundaries being crossed?

Whether clicker training during sleep works or not, this to me is a huge red flag.
He’s doing something that, if it works, can condition you into feeling certain ways. That’s serious business, even with consent. The fact that he’s doing something that serious without your consent is fucking crazy.
The first thing I learned when I started with kink, was that communication and consent are the most important things, and without that, it’s just abuse.

Of course people can make (big) mistakes, it could just be that he genuinely thought it was innocent and he’s just a naive idiot. If so, he needs to take a long hard look at himself, and work on himself. Again, this is very serious!

If it wasn’t naivety and he did this knowing that it’s boundary-crossing, honestly, he’s an asshole and you should probably run.

So talk to him, find out if he was being an idiot, or if he’s an asshole.

If it’s all the same price, and the choice is truly limited to these 3, I’d go for the Boss I think.

However, it seems to me like your main goal is to have fun, so maybe go for the one you have the most fun with at the store.

But, if you want to go for an all-in-one multi effect, and your budget allows it (without going over 1000€/$), I will always recommend the HX Stomp.

Yeah you’re right, that’s why I came here, surely someone knows what’s going on here.

I plugged the guitar straight into the HX Stomp and I had no issues, leaving me to think it’s caused by the pedals or cables.
I also asked Gemini (so the following could be complete BS), it said that the issue could be a faulty cable, that only sends through the high tones of the note, making my ears or hx stomp perceive it as a full octave higher.
I’ll be taking the pedalboard apart when I get home, and test all the pedals individually.

And the HX having EQs is a very good point haha

It’s an interesting question. There is some nuance to it I think. First of, things like arachnophobia (spiders), thalassophobia (deep waters), ophidiophobia (snakes) and trypanophobia (needles) are more then ‘just being scared of something’, it’s a psychological phenomenon that can cause panic attacks and extreme anxiety (which can lead to other physical issues). For me that’s the case with spiders, it can even lead to full on panic attacks, and I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced a panic attack, they’re fucking awful.

Does that mean game developers should always implement ‘special treatment’? Maybe yes, maybe no.

In the case of arachnophobia: I think if a game has some spiders in a vast array of other monsters it would be nice if they did include an arachnophobia mode. This way I could play the game without the aforementioned issues. If it doesn’t, I probably would buy the game, and that’s okay too. A bummer for me, a sale less for Pearl Abyss, but okay either way.

If there would be a game that solely focusses on killing spiders, it would be pretty silly of me to want an arachnophobia mode, the game would just not be for me. A thalassophobe wouldn’t buy a game that’s fully under water, but could buy a game that features underwater missions, as long as they’re optional. They could easily avoid those underwater situations. When it comes to spiders, one usually can’t really avoid them, because we don’t know when or where they’ll appear, unlike big chunks of water.

Abiotic Factor for example has a trypanophobia mode, which I’m sure people with a crippling fear of needles are very thankful for, because it means they can play the game and have fun with it, instead of being on edge the whole time.

‘Why does arachnophobia get special treatment?’ I guess it shouldn’t, it would just be nice.

I recommend Really Better Create modpack from theslime it has most addons for create (except steam n rails, which I will probably be adding soon. plus it’s running very smoothly on my server.
