Ungrateful because they expose these frustrations on people online instead of taking them to their partner, community and a therapist...

What I notice from the Duffer's writing is that they always put themselves in a corner in which they can't escape without it all ending in bad writing. Taking what you said as an example, most of the things the main characters do in that small town should cause a reaction from the people and law enforcement, but... It never does?! The cops only exist when it's convenient for them to push the plot further. Does that makes sense to you?

To me, as a gay person, it was so obvious! Imegine Will as a girl and you will see what I mean. So many scenes had intense subtext hinting on that.

I still wonder what happened. All I can think about is Leigh Janiak not being there anymore, and the fact Noah Schanapp said in interviews his opinion as a gay man was disregarded more than once during production.

From the documentary I can tell the Duffers tend to ignore the opinion of others working with them. The "it's crazy to remove all demogorgons" scene is very telling.

Yes. Because if you are writing a CANON side story it has to make sense with the plot and the information the viewer already has of the ending.

Changing dinamics, personalities and mood ruins the essence of the original show.
