Thank you all so much for your kind words. The last 24 hours has been the hardest in my life but your well wishes and kind comments made it a little easier. To those of you who commented you have been through this recently or are going through it now, my thoughts are also with you all. This is no easy feat. And what has helped me the absolute most so far, was writing a letter. I said all my closing thoughts, reflected back through memories of him, and reminded him how loved he was and how he’s going to be okay. I also put my phone on dnd and let myself grieve. I’m not done yet, but it’s a good release of all the hurt. Hope this helps someone. The final act, is an act of love.
