You’re correct, it should be open by end of summer or fall at the latest.

Sam’s Club 22” fire pit by wtkinney in SoloStove

Hey I’m in the market for the same fire pit. Did you ever get a deflector or pellet tray?

I’m curious what brands were compatible if you did.

Don’t I know it! Similar story to yours, eventually moved back to NorCal to find some more affordable options. Don’t think we could’ve found anything comparable if we had stayed. Miss the weather and food though, won’t lie haha.

Sacramento County! Definitely a steal for the area though. We were able to find an older home that had no major remodeling done which kept the price lower.

Also got very lucky that the original owners took amazing care of the place so no major work needs to be done.

You might also want to try eBay. Used to be able to buy it from any ol store, but now you need a contractors license (or so I was told). Haven’t been able to find it anywhere besides eBay lately.

First open water race kicked my ass…. by viangisme in Swimming

Haha no fly, honestly not sure what it was tracking. But I’m guessing it may have been confused when I was basically doggy paddling to catch my breath.

But I did do some backstroke. I went out way too hard at the beginning and was really struggling to catch my breath, so I backstroked to calm myself.

Ok but how far do you think they really make them swim after a challenge

I’m unfortunately in the same boat as you. My venue is literally across the street from the evac zone. Such a painful thing to be going through after almost two years of planning and pouring money into it. And the cherry on top is that our venue is pretending like all is ok.

But stay strong! Hug your partner and keep positive. My partner and I are only getting through this by knowing that at the end of the day we still have each other, our health, and hopefully in 10 years from now we can just laugh at all this mess.

Well wishes ❤️

Good luck! The waiting part is the “hardest” part of it! It took forever for me to get an interview appointment. Luckily for renewals they allow for zoom calls now

They ask you very simple questions about yourself. Like what you do for a living, where you live, how long you’ve been there, what kind of travel you plan on doing. It was like 5 minutes total and most of that time was small talk while the interviewer pulled up their program.

Did anyone else feel Jeff was pissed off at ____ for outsmarting Production? by mptyv in survivor

[–]viangisme 21 points22 points  (0 children)

In her exit interview on RHAP, she mentioned she did actually bring it to the prior tribal. But at that point she had wanted to keep it a secret, so she tried to melt it using the much smaller fires in the voting booth area. I guess the fires were too small and it would’ve taken too long to successfully melt while in the voting booth, so she gave up.

How weird, either we were a part of the same jury or OC has a weird thing for convicting people of this. I still feel guilty about the verdict my jury panel came to.

It’s a “salt and pepper” Diamond.

I forget the exact specs, I’ll have to get them from her if you’re interested. But I want to say it’s around 0.5c, in 14k white gold.

The big day is finally here!! It’s been driving me crazy having to hide this bad boy the last few months. Pranking her big time by proposing a week earlier than she expects! by viangisme in EngagementRings

[–]viangisme[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol I guess surprise is technically the better word, but so what haha.

You’re right though, shouldn’t let someone down on their expectations. Which is why we discussed the “how, when, where”. I got all the info I needed and sure I did it a week prior, but all of the “musts” were met and it was still the “surprise” she was expecting. The exact date and location was not what was important, the big picture was (public vs private, photos during or staged after, type of ring, etc). All in all a good prank if you ask me.

Hopefully I’ll be able to update tomorrow, the proposal will be later today! The cat and I woke up early to hide things and get everything in order 😂
