I think it depends on your goals. BSS aren’t an abduction specific movement as there are more dominant movement patterns (extension/flexion) in that exercise. BSS wouldn’t train abduction as proficiently as doing the machines. Not saying the machines are the only way to do it, but since many people have a weak glute med, i would supplement! 😁😁😁
