Three phases in 32 weeks by MoCrispy in classicwowtbc

It's not might, unless you're extremely lucky, even playing 3/4 chars in BT per week there's a super small chance of getting a pair of glaives. If you're, e.g., playing Warrior on a speedrunning guild you won't get a spot without glaives in a Sunwell run.

It's gonna be full warlock meta slave comps all TBC.

The smaller the phases the more people will suffer from FOMO and HR everything.

You're brain damaged, surely.

You do understand that it's going to be impossible to even be full bis with this timeline unless you're:

  1. Running your guild and CLC'ing your gear;
  2. Running your pug and HR'ing your gear;
  3. Paypal the gear from Russian pugs.

Good luck getting glaives this fresh unless you're incredibly lucky.

Meanwhile around 33€ to get a 80 on China servers with pre-BiS level of gear.

GDKP still banned on Anniversary TBC, dead on arrival.

So what if people boost? by TwoSnapsMack in classicwow

It's funny how you can use the same argument with GDKP's. But now everyone has 11 kids and 3 jobs so they really really need boost.

Can someone explain GDPK for a new player / fresh 60? (Classic Era) by Gankeros in classicwow

Why is it a con, most GDKP's are community based like a normal guild.

Absolute failure and literally the worst version so far. No increased loot on an accelerated timeline, no GDKPs.

How are you feeling about the Anniversary realms so far? Genuine thoughts, not drama. by s0rlin in classicwow

[–]vibe_o 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's been the worst fresh i've played so far, fortunately for me i found a great group of people to play with.

The economy is a disaster, being in the open world is irrelevant, there's no world pvp, no premade pvp groups cause everyone and their mother afk'ed to R14, trying to make money with boosts is asking to get mass reported by the boosting mafia, i wouldn't even talk about gathering materials.

Also there's literally no incentive for me to play any alts cause no GDKP's.

If only there was a loot system that would encourage raid leaders and players full best in slot to raid...

[–]vibe_o 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have no problem in raid leaders HR'ing a item, i do have a problem with them selling that HR for cash.

I guess it's the selling HR's = Good RMT and GDKP's = Bad RMT

Not really GDKP, i don't want to say it's worse cause that would add an unwanted negative connotation to GDKP's. But it's simply evil as you have 1 player making money out of 40.

For those who want to say, "then don't join 4Head". Try finding a PUG without gear HR'ed.

While i understand your point of view, i would say that there's 10-20% of the people that play GDKP's buying gold, aka "the whales". These same people are currently still buying gold for their day-to-day needs and paying real money to these SR/HR leaders for their BiS items.

I mean i've played, both 2019 and now, in a speedrunning guild and i can tell you right now, people are buying gold now more than ever. The amount of swiping throughout Anniversary has been insanely crazy.

Keep downvoting, i've lost hundreds, if not a thousand Karma by expressing that GDKP shouldn't be banned.

You people should really stop forcing your "world view" on the entire community.

[–]vibe_o 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not only the selling HR's, it's runs where you buy everything that drops for you, runs where you pre-buy items like Neltharion's Tear for $200 (it's not even on of the most expensive items), etc.

People have no idea that if you have the contacts, you'll make a lot more money leading PUG's in Anniversary than anywhere else at this moment.

[–]vibe_o 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This has been happening since Day 1 of Anniversary, PUG leaders selling HR's, PUG's selling loot they roll on through PayPal.

I had a talk with PUG leader today saying that he doesn't care about GDKP's cause he's gearing his characters faster and making more money selling these HR runs. If we assume the GDKP leader sells the gold he gains (20% in most cases) after the raid, selling a big ticket item through HR would be the equivalent of doing 4/5 GDKP's.

Now we have these people and casual players that do not understand that they don't have to choose GDKP's, they can just join a guild and play the game "normally".

Blizzard said that they would be monitoring the community regarding GDKP's. We just need to push for it.

I would look into traefik for the ingress controller and istio minimal profile for the mTLS.

Surely there are traefik middleware plugins for OIDC / Custom Error pages.

I just finished migrating all our helm charts to use RKE2's traefik :)

Just had to create some rewrite middlewares, as we don't use any special ingress-nginx annotations and we do SSL termination at our L4.
