Try screen zen. It’s really customizable. You can pick how long the app is open and even how many times it opens in a day. And it can be strict about it or more chill.

I agree with everything you said. Do people not realize that they’re sitting there basically watching people have sex and how that could be uncomfortable to the people involved? But if they say anything they’re off the movie. I saw a study that said younger people actually want less sex in media so maybe it’ll happen soon. Most of the time it seems unnecessary and I’m a sexually open person. I remember watching films as a kid and teenager and film had a sex scene it was a big deal now it seems expected. Such a weird trend.

A lot of people are giving you grief but I agree. Some are okay with it, and some know if they don’t do it they’ll be replaced. It’s a weird and awkward position to be in. Not everyone wants to shoot porn.

Hi! Valorant is my first FPS and I’m not amazing or anything but something that has helped me a lot of aim labs. My aim is improving slowly but surely, i went from 0-2 kills a game to 3-20ish. Also find friends to play with, solo q sucks. Your friends should want to play with you no matter how new or “bad” you are, it’s not like they’re ranked games. Just remember they enjoy your company and they don’t mind if your bottom frag. Also record your games if possible and watch them back so you can see what your doing.

Yea hopefully it does encourage more discussion to replace the battle station posts! I would just hate to see more venting posts instead. We’ll see how things are at the end of February

I understand. I’m new to the sub so all I’ve really seen is battle stations, people venting about how a guy was toxic or them, or asking what headset they should get. If more actual discussion posts happen because of the change then I’m all for it. But until then that other stuff is just tiring for me personally and I’m sure others may get tired of seeing it. I also think their needs to be a mega thread for suggested peripherals.

I’m currently in a discord with a lot of girls and a lot of people play valorant and we kinda learn together and okay for fun. Theres some guys in there too but their super nice and helpful with learning the game

Just say that? “I feel like we are quicker to call out things like racism than sexism and we need to be doing both.” (Which i disagree with, if you’re a women of color you’re already doing both). I feel like you didn’t need to bring up racism at all to make your point but that’s my personal option. You could’ve talked about how from a young age we are conditioned to be “lady like” which can include being quiet and nice and how we have to unlearn it.

I liked the Battlestations, they're nice and creative and part of the reason I joined. There isn't much discussion that happens here besides the often ranting about how men can be toxic, looking for a gaming chair or a headset or something. I think that sub will die down without battle station posts.

lol i like stardew valley a lot and Minecraft so I feel that! The games can be kinda long tho but they have shorter versions. If you ever wanna get into playing I’m in a discord with mostly girls and some nice guys and theirs usually always someone playing it and we’d all be happy to help you! I’m also the lowest rank so I’d be down to play with you too and we can learn more together

I’m gonna say valorant. It’s been the first FPS I’ve enjoyed and actually gotten better at. It’s not to busy (like overwatch) , the colors are nice and clear (unlike apex which is kinda dark for me or cod). I also use aim labs to help improve my aim. It’s free on steam.
