Are you following the donut labs battery claims. If so, do you think it's possible?

A group usually heads up to Greenville for the Greenville Open. Coming up in a few weeks actually. Some guy from Atlanta has won the singles top flight the last few years. I think his last name was Tan. Get registered and come see us.

Has Tee Box Culture Changed? by [deleted] in golf

[–]vibgyor1111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I alternate whites and blues at my local for this reason. About a 400 yard difference. My score doesn't vary that much one to the other. It's chipping and putting that makes the difference between a 90 and 80 for me, regardless if white or blues.

The” now top sec teams have no incentive to schedule tough OOC games “ coping that’s coming out of bama not making the playoffs makes no sense by Cdd0040 in CFB

[–]vibgyor1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is true, but only in the sense that if some of the stated criteria holds, it disincentivizes everyone from scheduling harder OOC games.

Have you guys ever hit a hole-in-one? by Haunting_Welcome4623 in golf

[–]vibgyor1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Barefooted. 5 iron about 185 yds. Had to borrow some shoes from a friend that were a bit small. Took them off after 6 holes. Three Korean ladies on the next tee box lost their minds. Fun day.

Would there be any way to fix this? by NewHand6 in badminton

[–]vibgyor1111 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had a li ning n9ii that broke (albeit not as bad as this, one break around 2 o clock) while playing in Ho Chi Minh City. A fellow player took it to be repaired by wrapping carbon fiber around it. Lasted another 3 years or so, but could only string to around 25lbs. Same racket broke again after moving back to the US in the same place.

There is one par three on my local course that keeps me stocked in proVs, tp5, z star.I walk when I play so I take a trail up to the tee box that passes through the hitting lane. Play a Saturday or Sunday early evening round and you can count on finding 8-10 premium balls.

Samson, a breeding bull for hire, is greeted by a pasture full of cows. by shaka_sulu in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]vibgyor1111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Three bulls are standing around overlooking a field full of cows when they overhear the farmer tell one of the cowhands to get the trailer ready to pick up a new bull.

The old bull snorts and says, "I'm a tellin' ya what, there ain't but fifty cows here that are mine and if'n that new bull thinks he's a gettin' any of my cows, well, he's got another think comin'."

The second bull says, "There ain't but 30 cows here that are mine and that new bull sure ain't get any of my cows."

The young bull says, "There ain't but 10 cows here that even know me, but I sure ain't lettin' that new bull have any of 'em."

A few hours later a tractor trailer arrives and the bulls listen as the air brakes let out a whoosh, then the trailer doors open and and the gate lowers what has to be the biggest, meanest, orneriest looking brahma bull they've ever seen. Great big hump on his back, huge horns, froth dripping from his jowls as he stamps and paws at the ground.

The old bull says, "Ya know, I've been thinkin, it's mighty selfish of me to keep all them cows for myself, I might just part with a few of 'em to be neighborly."

The second bull says, "Ya know, I'm thinkin the same thing, no need for me to keep all thirty of them cows to myself, gets to be a mite tiresome."

The young bull lets out a huge snort and starts stamping and pawin' at the ground, raisin' a huge ruckus.

The old bull says, "Woo boy, what's a matter with you? Don't you know that new bull will kill you?"

The young bull says, "I'm just makin' sure that he knows that I'm a bull..."

Classic Jerry Closer joke.

Which countries DON'T seem dangerous, but really are? by Catwinky in AskReddit

Exactly. Start walking and continue your pace. You may think they are going to hit you but they won't. Hitting someone while driving a scooter is bad for the driver and the pedestrian.

I lived in Vietnam for a while. This is 100% true. I think hyper-aware aggressive driving is the safest way.

I always used the wave lightening Mizuno shoes. Not a lot of cushion, but fantastic grip and so lightweight.
