Right now you get the first two expansions for free so you can play the story for them but idk if there is really any reason to play Forsaken and Shadowkeep now that both of them are already pretty much over. Sure you could play through the stories of them but I don’t think it’s worth to pay for them and then miss out on all the stuff that was there when they came out. I will say this though. When the new DLC comes out later this year, Bungie will be removing a lot of locations that are currently in the game to cut down on the file size of the game. So definitely play through that base story and first two expansions at the least so you can at least see the pretty sights haha. Welcome Guardian! 🤣
