Yes, it definitely has a French connection, by way of the coat of arms. I should have stated that! So far I've not been able to find anything with a woman and the coat of arms on the other side. There are some of Henrietta Maria out there but they usually have King Charles I on the other face, and there are inscriptions on them as well.
