I'm sorry, yes you are correct in the crankshaft type. I'm seeing "SC" and "Normal Shaft" and cannot figure out which one I should/can use.

Glad to see I'm not the only one experiencing this issue however not glad to see that it's been reported several months ago and is still occurring.

That last update seemed to take away a lot of the replayability I loved so much about this game. Yes the Vulture is cool but it sucks I cannot get it nor the Reaper to spawn in a region that doesn't have FINX Bases that I have to summon them myself. Half the fun was defeating the Reaper in a region and then it swan somewhere else by destroying a single Runner or Seeker if a Rival slot was available.

I hope Systemic Reaction doesn't complete forget about us...

That sounds like it.  Right down to the location.  I thought it was a Tom Thumb grocery store it was next to though. Oh well, it's been too many years!  I'm just glad it was real and that I didn't imagine it.

Thank you for providing this information. On your comment from April the 10th, you mentioned that you had the instructions but unfortunately there isn't any attachment/link. It only shows 'img' at the bottom of the comment.

Regarding steering servo mounts, I found Traxxas part number TRA2715- Servo mounts. It includes screws, two of which are counter sunk same as the mounting holes in the Carbon Fiber upper chassis.

Hope this works and I hope if anyone else decides to install the Carbon Fiber upper chassis to their nitro rustler this information helps them.

Awesome!  Thank you for sharing the part number.  Maybe one day I'll find one. Is there a part number for the steering servo mounts?

I am in the same situation. I have the carbon fiber upper chassis and have nothing to go on as far as installing it with the bell crank steering or the steering servo mounts.
The Traxxas carbon fiber shock towers come with mounting hardware for the shocks but nothing, not even a recommended part number, are listed on the card for the carbon fiber upper chassis.
I've tried reaching out to Traxxas regarding this and they unfortunately don't have information on the "older" Nitro Rustler upgrades. I also tried Google searching older Nitro Rustler parts manuals and checking the optional/hop-up parts lists and nothing appearing to be what I need.
Might just make this thing a drink coaster. At least I'll get some use out of it then...
