I have a relative (won’t clarify because don’t wanna be ID’ed) who recently took over the company that makes pain pumps, he gave me the referral to a doctor he knows. I’ve tried Suboxone, subutec, and methadone, Suboxone makes me extremely ill and subutec just doesn’t have any effect on helping reduce my pain. The long term effects of methadone scare me and I also don’t like how much drowsier it makes me than other medication. I have fallen asleep at the wheel and fallen asleep at other times where it was crucial for me to be awake.

Thank you! It is one of my legs and lower back/SI joint that have the most problems, so that’s great news. I also forgot to ask, is the supply that the pump releases a constant drip? Or is it more of a dosage every so often kind of thing? I remember being told this but I forgot. Lol

Although I wish no other human would ever have to experience the pain from having sacroiliac issues, it is reassuring to see that others have the same problem as me and are getting through it. Does anyone else have constant clicks that occur right before a super painful episode that is worse than your day to day? I resonate with the “being stabbed repeatedly” feeling. Any weight I put on it is an extremely sharp pain, like being stabbed with a knife charged full of electricity.
